HODI Hotel

Positive points: The hotel is located near the beach, walkable. The staff are friendly even though we are using google translate to communicate. The room was great! Mattress is just right, pillows are soft.

Review: I stayed here for a couple of days while I was in Danang. The hotel is nice, the room is huge and so comfy! There’s enough toiletries and the staff are very accommodating. However, the location is a bit far that I have to always use grab to go to places I wanna be. Nonetheless, it was a nice stay!

Positive points: We stayed at the hotel for 3 days, the rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. the staff are all good, they help us booked private tour to hoi an and to ba na hills, recommended nice restaurants according to our request, give us information about the city and weather, delivered our laundry on time and also made our rooms clean during our stay. Thank you for giving my family an unforgettable memories.

Review: The hotel is on a quiet sleepy street. There isn't a whole lot around in terms of street food, you must travel to other areas to find normal priced fares (all the food options nearby is noticeably more expensive). This isn't bad because I like it quiet over the busy downtown area. It also only a few minutes walk to the beach.

The hotel has some questionable guests. There are guests that are extremely loud and make a ton of noise early in the morning. There are a bunch of guests running around dripping wet, leaving puddles in the elevator and hallway. There are also guests who smoke even though the hotel has a no smoking policy. There were a couple rooms on different floors where they tried to assign me that I refused given the smell. The hotel staff doesn't say anything to these rowdy guests.

The male staff member who checked me in was initially nice but became visibly annoyed when I kept coming down to ask for a different room. A couple of the rooms smelled like cigarettes, one other room had no fan. All the rooms have a AC unit but it's extremely weak. It's summer now in Da Nang and having a barely functioning AC makes the room unbearable. You must let the AC run on full blast along with the fan to make the room cooler. It takes an hour minimum before the room cools down.

The electricity in the room cuts out when you take your hotel key card out of the slot. So you come back to a hot stifling room and must wait ~1 hour for the AC/fan to cool the room down.

During the first night, another female staff member asked me if my room was okay. I told her it's clean but hot. She had a male technician come the next day. The tech did visit but said the AC unit was okay and left. Having the AC and fan on maximum speed at night makes the room cool enough to sleep.

The door to the bathroom must be kept shut as it feels like a sauna in there. There doesn't appear to be any sort of water heater at the hotel. The water is hot during the day and cold at night. Be prepared to take cold showers at night. Taking cold shower is okay since it's summer time and it's hot. The water pressure in the bathroom is weak.

Positive points: The quiet. Cleanliness.

Review: we stayed here for 2 nights, requested for 10am early check in and the hotel allowed it free of charge. The room was cleaned everyday and with everything changed. its also a quiet place where you can truly enjoy the vacation chill vibe. with its price point you get more

Review: Hotel’s not big but room’s very clean and new. Just 3 minutes walking to the beach. The host’s very nice. They upgrade our rooms for free and let us check in early even though we didn’t ask for. No breakfast in hotel but there’r many restaurants around. Highly recommend!

Positive points: Clean room with comfortable bed. Quiet but still in a good location opposite to lots of great shops/places to eat. The bun cha across the road is amazing.
