Review: This was one of our most favourite home-stays in Vietnam. The hosts were very friendly and took us to several locations around Hoi An free of charge. Our suite was bright, spacious, and right near the pool. There is also a lovely outdoor sitting space by the gorgeous pool for all guests. An amazing breakfast was included with our room which was already very reasonably priced. We highly recommend this wonderful homestay!

Positive points: Everything was perfect :) the family is so kind and the breakfast was amazing! It rained a few days and the property was so nice to relax in the garden. Great location between old town and the beach by bicycle or motorbike. The zen spa across the street is amazing. Mr Binh picked us up from Hue and took us along the van pass.

Review: We spent 4 nights at Herbal Tea Homestay. Binh & his wife Noa were wonderful hosts, from our pick up at the airport to our drop off. The room was very large with a comfortable bed, large bathroom/shower and very reliable wifi throughout the property. We ate breakfast at the homestay each day and enjoyed the little market down the street for snacks and lunch. We enjoyed sitting by the pool and it was great to have bikes that we could use to cycle to the beach or old town.
Hoi An is a lovely city and we look forward to coming back someday.

Positive points: The homestay is situated in a lovely well-tended garden so you feel relaxed when returning from a day of sightseeing. The staff (a family) went over and above to make my stay comfortable. The homestay is about 10 minutes by bike from the old town, and the staff can lend you pedal bikes for free, or you can take a short Grab motorcycle for about 20,000 dong. Staff even often offered to drive me by scooter to the city centre when they were free, which was very kind of them! The owner (sorry I forgot your name) even taught me how to make Vietnamese phin coffee for free as I was considering booking a class to learn how to make Vietnamese coffee. She really is a coffee expert, she roasts her own coffee and the homestay is also a popular coffee shop in the very early morning for locals (couldn't hear anyone from my room though). It was low season when I stayed, and I ended up extending my stay spontaneously by a few days as I felt so at home -it's basic but comfortably homey as befits a homestay (don't expect a luxury hotel). I liked that the homestay was a little way away from the city centre -this meant it was quiet and peaceful, a respite from the beeping and noise of the city centre but still close enough to get there quickly. The pool always looked clean and nice, but as it was raining I never used it.

The staff are lovely and very helpful and we got coffee and fruit when we checked in an also free tea during night time. The staff are always there and the rooms are nice and clean.

Review: We booked to stay 2 nights at this hotel but ended up staying 5 nights because we loved it so much. The family who runs it is so so lovely!! When we first arrived they gave us ice coffees and fruit plates which they continued offering us everyday. They were extremely helpful and accommodating.

The room is great! We stayed in a double room that had a tv with loads of English channels, bathroom is really modern and nice. The bed is massive! And so comfortable, definitely the best bed we had in whole of Asia.

They give you cycle-bikes so you can cycle to the beach or into the center. To the center it takes 10 minutes and is one straight line so super simple. We loved having bikes so we could bike around all day! Location of the hotel is safe and quiet.

We absolutely loved our stay here and can't recommend it highly enough!!

Positive points: The balcony oversees a beautiful, quiet swimming pool, while the pathway to the villa meanders through a neatly kept Japanese-style garden.
