Positive points: I really enjoyed my stay at HERA Hostel. The place perfectly combines a modern design with a cozy, home-like atmosphere. The room was spotless, and the bed was top-tier comfortable — easily one of the best I’ve experienced at this price point. The air conditioning was strong and refreshing, a great relief from the heat, and the bathroom was spacious and very clean. I appreciated that the staff allowed us to leave our luggage before check-in, and the daily fresh towels, linens, and complimentary water and coffee refills were a nice touch. The reception and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even recommending great local spots to eat. The hostel also offers affordable bike rentals, making it easy to explore both Chau Doc and nearby provinces. The host clearly takes pride in the place, paying attention to every little detail to make guests feel comfortable. Negative points: There wasn’t much to dislike, but a few small things could be improved. My room didn’t have a window — not a major issue for me, though some guests might prefer one (and I noticed the staff kindly offer free upgrades when available). The rental bike quality could use a bit of maintenance, as I had minor tire issues during my trip, though the staff handled it professionally and refunded the repair cost right away. - Booking.com Guest & Partner Specialist.

Positive points: The day staff was amazing and attentive. They were very keen to address all your needs to their best abilities.
Negative points: Smoking section was located right outside our room. When anyone smoke it will leak into our and cause my wife to have an allergic reaction.
Review: The hotel is new, clean, and well-equipped, with modern amenities and even an elevator – despite being just two stories high. It's conveniently located near Sam Mountain in Chau Doc, which makes it perfect for sightseeing. Staff were friendly and genuinely helpful. One of our group forgot something after check-out, and a staff member went out of their way to deliver it to us at the bus station just in time for our trip – and even refused a thank-you tip. Such kindness and dedication are rare. We’ll definitely stay here .
