Review: The hotel is very run down. The hotel is dirty and damaged. The guests are mixed. The staff is unfriendly. The swimming pool is dirty and the water is cloudy.
Positive points: Nice big studio room.good value when on special price
Negative points:
It's too far out of the way and you have to get a taxi to get to the shops and restaurant. The breakfast wasn't that special. I've had better at a 3 star hotel.. hot water was only

Positive points: Nice pool but the water was very warm. The room was quite big.
Negative points: It‘s not ok if they charge you more for the French fries at the pool than what is shown on the menu because their kitchen is closed and they have to get them from the hotel on the other side of the street.
Review: My family really enjoyed the stay
Positive points: The hotel staff were fantastic. Went over and above to help us. The resort is pristine. December is definitely off peak as Sam Son itself was deserted. There were hardly any places open to eat. The hotel however was great. The cakes in our room for Christmas were definitely appreciated.
Negative points: Most places were shut (even within the resort). Not having a car would have made getting meals very difficult.

Came back after 4 years, there is not much change, friendly staff, airy space, spacious swimming pool. except the infrastructure shows signs of deterioration, many sockets in the room are very loose. should pay attention to maintenance.
anyway this is the best resort in Sam Son.

Positive points: The staff is very keen on helping and solving problems. The hotel management pushes the limits to satisfy the customers. It was my wife's birthday during my stay and they offer the cake free of charge (the cake was better than I expect. For the dinners, the hotel restaurant's cost-benefit rate was 5/5 for me.
Negative points:
First of all, the hotel's local guest profile is not familiar and polite to ex-pat guests. So, although it's a 5-star hotel, be well prepared to be faced with weird interactions with the other guests. During my 2 days of stay there with my family, I had moments in which I didn't feel safe. I think this is a very important security issue that needs to be improved.
Lastly, the hotel staff is not really speaking English. Even for the standard issues, they may not understand you. On the phone or face2face conversations, you may suffer telling your problem or asking for anything.

Very large salty swimming pool and just near by the sea. Food is good.
Good tennis court.
Positive points: Spacious room, quiet, located on the beach, great pools and activities.
Negative points: Unsecured WiFi, no A/C in the hallways, towels not accessible at the pools.

Negative points: The hotel was noisy. They put the loud speakers near rooms and they turn loud loud loud music until midnight which like music drum hit to my chest. I could not sleep.

breakfast is terrible, bedroom is very small compared to the suite size.
They only prepare 2 small bottles of water (like 250ml each) in the room, which we consume very fast during this hot weather in Sam Son. Heavy noise from upstair early in the morning (probably renovation).
Very hot & stuffy corridor too (which is long, like 300m walk). Apparently they installed all the ACs but never turn them on.
