Review: Located in the heart of Insadong. You won’t have problems finding it. Transportation from there basically anywhere in the city is easy… but the beds are terrible! They are super hard and uncomfortable. Pillows are small and uncomfortable too and they won’t give you extras. You have to go get them from a shelf in the front office any time after 14:00 which you won’t be because you’re out exploring and by the time you come back they will be all gone.

Review: Wanted to try this branch after a lovely experience at the Gangnam branch. nnBreakfast and facilities are definitely better at the Gangnam branch. nnLocation in Insadong definitely more convenient for most sightseeing.
Positive points: Spa and various free drinks and snacks
Negative points: There’s some possible smells especially near the spa area
Positive points: Great breakfast, complimentary iced/hot drinks , lovely complimentary japanese style soup noodles late evening
Negative points: Bed on the hard side (as is japanese style) but actually was very comfortable.
Review: Free hot public bath, great welcome drink, washing machine and friendly staff. Currency exchange machine is also available at 1/F

Review: Room is a quite small, just slightly renovated from the previous hotel hence dont expect a sparkling new hotel
Positive points: Great location, close to metro and walking distance to lots of attractions, shopping and food. Staff were very helpful and friendly, they kept my bags overnight when I did a side trip to Jeonju, they also let me use their shower facilities after check out when my flight was extremely delayed.
Positive points: We really enjoyed the available food options, the location and how nice the staff was. Really 10/10
Review: Dormy inn insadong has the familiar style and hospitality as Dormy Inn chains in Japan. Expectations well met and the public bath is always a welcome feature of Dormy Inn
Positive points: Location was excellent, right in the heart of Insadong and close to all the lovely tourist spots. Staff were helpful, and the free noodles at night were a nice perk.
Negative points: The rooms were on the small side, and the bathroom was an odd arrangement where the sink was outside the main bathroom. The toilet bidet also broke halfway through our stay, but the staff were kind enough to fix it promptly.

Positive points: I know that this is a new hotel. I have stayed at more than 12 Dormy Inn properties in Japan, both EXPRESS and PREMIUM. And I have stayed at the Dormy Inn Gangnam. rnrnI like the location and the staff was helpful. The common areas in B2 and the lobby were nice. The rooms could be improved (see below).
Negative points: I was surprised that the fixtures in the bathroom were not good quality. In particular, the sink, faucet and toilet.rnrnAlso the bed had a bad mattress. I like a firm mattress, but this was more of a box spring than a mattress and not comfortable. rnrnThere was no bedside lamp or clock, which I am used to. You cannot control the lights from the bedside, which I am used to.rnrnThe hot springs bath was good, but I recommend adding (1) a place to put your slippers outside the bath and (2) foam seats to take in the sauna (having a towel on the bench is not sanitary).
Positive points: The bed was nice and firm, and the pillows were one of the best pillows I ever used. We had a pleasant 2 night stay and the location was perfect. Staff members were very accommodating. Because we had a late flight, we were able to do a late checkout for a fee.
Negative points: There was a certain smell, but couldn't tell if it was just from outside (city) or inside. It's not a big issue, and it didn't happen all the time.
