Negative points: TLDR: the host is a scammer. AVOID AT ALL COST. SEVERE MISREPRESENTATION. rnWe had to find another hotel at the last minute, and the host is still refusing to issue refunds.rnrnrn-------------------------------------------------------------rnI booked a Three-bedroom bungalow which was supposed to have three bedrooms, a living room, and balcony. Upon arrival, we discovered that the bungalow I booked was actually the host's private residence. Instead, they attempted to place us in a detached room with a double bed in a poor condition. (obviously, one that doesn't even appear in the booking.com photos). rnrnIt was a non-refundable reservation, but the host orally (and also via whatsapp) promised to cancel for free given the absolute mirepresentation. So we left to find another accommodation and stayed there. rnrnHowever, after we left, he started dodging my message, saying that he can't accept cancellation because booking.com hasn't requested any, while at the same time, only contacting via whatsapp (apparently booking.com only considers communication via their own channel) He then falsely accused that we were 'no shows' and refused to waive the fee, and became confrontational (see whatsapp). I'm still waiting to seek ways to get the refund and get this host off from booking.com

Positive points: Fantastic place to stay in Berastagi! rnNino and his mom are so incredibly welcoming and kind. Nino is super enthusiastic about showing you all Berastagi has to offer - he is happy to cater it to your interests. He will arrange everything for you and personally take you to most places. Examples: street food tour, agricultural tour, cave exploration, cooking classes etc. If you think of something you want to do, I have no doubt that Nino can make it happen.rnBoth he and his mom speak perfect English.rnrnLocation of the place is great - close enough to town, but not right in the overcrowded center. Close to the base of Sibyak (we actually ran the trail directly from the house).rnrnRoom is clean and comfortable, amazing balcony with a great view.rnrn10/10 would recommend.
Positive points: I loved staying here. Nino and his mother made me feel like family and I even extended my stay. They shared with me places I would never have had the opportunity to see. I highly recommend staying here. I will never forget my time staying here.
Review: Chúng tôi đã ở lại hai đêm với Nino & Imo. Họ là những chủ nhà rất đáng yêu và có một chú cún con ngọt ngào thích được chú ý. Địa điểm nằm trong khoảng cách đi bộ đến Sibayak (chúng tôi mất khoảng 2.5 giờ từ cửa vào đến đỉnh, với con đường yên tĩnh và dễ chịu). Chiếc giường thì thoải mái và vòi sen nóng. Phản hồi duy nhất của chúng tôi là nên có một cánh cửa phòng ngủ có khóa (hoặc ít nhất là một chiếc két an toàn cho hộ chiếu, tiền bạc, v.v.) và bếp nên gọn gàng hơn (: Ngoài ra, nếu bạn muốn ăn ngoài khu phố, chúng tôi khuyên bạn nên đến AS Cafe Resto Dan Hotel, chỉ cách đó năm phút đi bộ.
