Review: it was good experience to stay at bong, the hospitality super good 👍🏻
Positive points: The staff are so friendly and help me a lot. Thank you guys.
Review: Decent hostel. Was able to book for the tour the morning of so very flexible
Positive points: Best easy riders on the planet
Review: Perfect hostel with the perfect ha Giang tour 🥰
Positive points: Location, beds, price
Negative points: Water was not running at 2am.
Review: Beds were comfy and free breakfast was great. The bar/ pool table downstairs were cool and they let me connect to the Bluetooth. Some downsides were that the bathroom was downstairs from the dorm.. and there was no staff member to provides beers most of the night
Positive points: We were able to change our booking from a dorm to a private room in another hotel
Review: Only stayed for one night, and was a jump-off point to start the famous Ha Giang Loop. The hostel is very helpful to give you advice on what tours to take and how to prepare.
Positive points: Everything was great
Negative points: Didn’t stay long enough to notice
Review:
The stay and our Ha Giang was just perfect. I can highly recommend to do the tour with Bong.
The drivers are amazing and you have a good time.
Positive points: Amazing scenery and a great team of drivers.
Negative points: We drove far too fast through many of the small villages, and you could see the locals didn't appreciate it at all. I certainly can't blame them. The only other downside is that some of the hostels had only a single bathroom for rooms with 10 guests.

We stayed here the night before we started the loop, we did a 3 day tour with a group. Bong is very well organized and everything here seems to run like a well oiled machine. They keep the groups pretty small which is also great! They have nice bikes, no one in our group had any issues with them at all. They had a motorbike lesson the morning before we left good as I have never rode a semi automatic before this. They also offer easy riders if you’d like. We had a great group and the guides were awesome, very friendly and helpful. Had a great time!

Positive points:
Bong Hostel was AMAZING!! Booked the Ha Giang loop with them, the bike was comfortable and the driver was super nice, however I got injured within the first hour (no one‘s fault, especially not the driver‘s!) and so I had to go back to the hospital and recover for a few days at the hostel. The owner, all the staff and volunteers were so incredibly nice, attentive and helpful regarding everything and the atmosphere was just great. They organised my bus to Hanoi, checked up on me every day and really made me feel part of the family.
The free breakfast at the hostel is great, it includes coffee/ tea, loads of fresh fruit and a pancake/ waffle/ baguette with eggs.
The facilities were cleaned every single day.
The beds were comfortable, had curtains, a socket, a light and real bedding!
The children running around were so cute as well, giving the whole place a homely atmosphere.
Review:
Great spot to stay before & after the loop. Couches to crash on in the lobby which was so nice after being exhausted from the loop and waiting for the bus. They provide good info about the loop as well & if you’re new to riding a semi-automatic, they allow you to take your time & learn in the back. Definitely recommend, felt so relaxed during my
stay.
Positive points: The loop was amazing
Review: Took the 4 day tour and it was stunning. Our guide Kevin was amazing and the stops and stays were out of this world. All and all a great value for money. The only unfortunate things was that we did get stopped at the checkpoint, but our guide managed to negociate a small fine for everyone. Also good motorbike skills required, but the guides were grand and drove at a comfortable pace for everyone.
Positive points: I can really recommend booking your tour with Bong. They are very well organised and the groups are not too big. The easy drivers are great and build a familiar athmosphere. Definitiely a highlight:))
Review: Clean, comfortable beds, soft bedsheets, big, separate toilets / shower from room. Everything is great. Bring ear buds and you will have a great night sleep. Best hostel I have stayed at in Vietnam so far!
Positive points:
Great budget/hostel option! I just stayed at the hostel, and didn't do the Ha Giang loop with Bong. Dorms were clean and quiet, and there's lockers for full backpacks. Beds had curtains and individual lights. Bathrooms were cleaned regularly and showers had lots of hooks. I didn't eat dinner here, but the free breakfast was good. Coffee and abundant fruit, with options of pancakes, waffles, or bread with eggs available. Vegan options is fruit and french bread roll. Staff very friendly and helpful, and can help with booking other tours and transportation. There are social areas to meet others, though most people only stay a night before/after doing the Ha Giang loop.
Located within the city, so lots of food options within walking distance. 30 minutes walk to the cafe on the mountain.
Negative points: Dorms could use a deep clean for dust in the corners, but this did not impact my stay, and is pretty typical of hostels in Vietnam.
