Review:
We stayed at Bach Suites with our two young children (both under 6) and had a pleasant experience overall. The suite was comfortable, and despite a beer garden across the street blasting music until midnight, the room remained very quiet throughout the day, allowing us to get good rest.
However, the bed felt a bit worn, and we experienced lower back pain after sleeping. The bathroom setup was also not ideal—unlike other hotels, their suite only had a bathtub and no separate standing shower, which we didn’t prefer. The facility itself is on the smaller side, and breakfast can feel cramped during peak hours (6:30 AM - 10 AM).
On the positive side, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the hotel’s location is superb for exploring District 1 of Ho Chi Minh City. While it’s a great option for solo travelers or couples, we’ve realized that with a growing family, we now need a place with more space.
Positive points: Loved the rooms, the friendly staff, delicious breakfast!
Negative points: There is a bar near the hotel, and even though we stayed quite high up, the music was very loud, and it was quite frustrating to try to fall asleep to. They do provide earplugs, but that’s not something I’m used to wearing so that was uncomfortable too. Luckily the music doesn’t go on all night and wraps up around midnight!
Review:
A Wonderful Boutique Hotel in a great Location.
The Bach Suites Saigon, was definitely one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in throughout our Asia travels. Do not be put off because this is a brand you might not have heard of, it was absolutely first class.
We arrived at the hotel quite late in the evening and were immediately offered a drink and biscuits, while we checked in. Check in was quick, smooth and efficient and we were soon shown to Room 503 on the fifth floor.
The room was a slightly quirky shape, but large for an Asian room and very clean and modern and had a firm but comfortable bed, a large Samsung TV, fridge, safe etc. There was a free mini bar refreshed daily and a lovely modern bathroom, with a very funky shower. Everything felt very premium and was nicely branded with the hotel logo. Towels were thick and the body wash, shampoo and conditioner was all very good quality.
The pool was on the rooftop. It wasn't very big, but was never busy enough for that to be an issue. It also had a small gym on the top floor, with TV and free water.
The pool area was delightful, with a very arty design and some nice views.
Breakfast was very nice on a dining room filled with class and character. There was a nice mix of fresh fruit and fruit juices, a small selection of Asian choices and some western staples like croissants, pastries, bacon and sausage, plus an egg station making the most beautiful omelettes.
No real negatives to report, pool size maybe, our bed had a slight squeak, but was very comfortable.
And saving the most important point to last. Location. We were a 3 minute walk to Notre Dame Cathedral (which was covered in scaffolding by the way. We were 5 minutes from the Royal Palace and a similar distance to the brilliant War Remnants Museum. The area was full of restaurants of all types and all budgets.
If we visit Saigon again and hod willing we will, it's a fascinating city, we would definitely stay at the same hotel.
Positive points: Beautiful place. Delicious breakfast. I’m so glad I came across it and will no doubt stay here again next time I’m in Saigon.
Negative points: Nothing to dislike
Review: We absolutely loved the French-inspired architectural design, and to our surprise, we were fortunate enough to receive a complimentary upgrade to a suite. This was completely unexpected, as it’s the first time we’ve ever been upgraded despite staying at numerous hotels in Saigon. We enjoyed the suite so much that we ended up spending most of our day in the room. The noise levels were minimal and didn’t cause much disturbance. Additionally, we truly appreciated how the hotel stays committed to its eco-friendly values.
Positive points: Friendly staff, beautiful design and great location
Review: For district 3, this is probably the only hotel we shall stay. Nothings better. High value because of location and breakfast. Very high quality bf and coffee they serve.
Positive points:
The hotel is very well positioned and it's quite premium: from the decor to the breakfast to the quality of the furniture and design. Also the facilities like the pool and gym are small but well arranged: you truly feel taken care of.
It is true that not far from the hotel there's a party place blasting loud music but: 1) the hotel has triple glazing 2) the music stops at 23:30 and it was not every day 3) if you are not facing the street, you don't hear it that much, 4) the hotel provides earplugs. For us it wasn't an issue like we read in other reviews.
Negative points: We would have stayed longer if our trip wasn't over :)
Review: The staff here is so nice and the breakfast is really good. It was my favorite part of staying here.
Positive points: The staff were super friendly and the location was great.
Negative points: The gym was very small and the pool area only had 3 sun beds.
Review: 酒店非常漂亮,早餐很丰盛,房间也很干净,打车会有工作人员帮忙拿行李,非常完美的体验
Positive points: Very very nice and luxurious !!! Definitely high level with luxury touch ! Wonderful boutique hotel ! Would come back
Negative points: I think the swimming pool needs to be upgraded and cleaned
Review: We stayed at this hotel for 3 days. It’s a boutique hotel with art deco influences. It’s very clean, staff were very helpful & efficient. Although we had a room facing the front of the street with a Heineken pub/restaurant with loud music, we could barely here it & it did not disturb my sleep (my sleep was only disturbed by my travel companion) hotel is about 5 mins walk from district 1, we were in district 3 & it’s about 20 mins drive from airport.
Positive points: Staff helpful n friendly.
Negative points: None
Review: i always stay here whenever i come to HCMC for business. it offers great breakfast. Only downside is that they have no other meals available, but there are plenty of restaurants outside.
Positive points: room was very clean and well decorated
Negative points: Construction ongoing in the building with drilling into concrete noise from early in the morning. Sometimes a bit of a wait for breakfast as space limited in dining area. Rooms are very nice and spacious. Location is convenient.
Review: Don’t be fooled by the fancy photoshoot. Up close it’s not that clean or pristine (we experienced two rooms). But the biggest thing to be aware of is the deafening noise from the bar across the street. We moved room to a higher floor but it was blaring and thunderous. Every night. Forget about getting any sleep before midnight when it finally dies down. You’ve been warned.
Negative points: The breakfast room is not big enough to accommodate all of the hotel guests and people had to return to their rooms to wait or wait in the small lobby.
Review: This was the first stop in our vacation to Vietnam and it was truly a welcoming and excellent experience. Guest service at every turn exceeded expectations. I stayed with my adult son and we both agreed that the hotel is fantastic. We stayed 4 nights and looked forward to the breakfast everyday. The morning soup was perfectly seasoned and the coffee and other breakfast items were delicious. Xuan, Thy and all the stay members were always cheerful, professional, accommodating and kind. This hotel has set a high bar for the remaining hotels in our itinerary. We highly recommend and look forward to staying again. Thank you!
Positive points: Wir waren zum x-ten Mal hier .. w/ Flair und more! We booked superior based on the Reviews regarding the „karaoke pubs“ but the quiet arhmosphere we appriciate! Well - honest und trained stuff with Fokus of the costumer needs! The Breakfast - the Sound of silentness 😘
Negative points: Sometimes the coordination is missing …
