Almond Villa Hoi An

Review: Owners are so lovely and helpful, they clean the rooms thoroughly and help with any problems straight away, they also have a motorbike rental, free bicycle service and can book tickets for you too so super helpful. We’d definitely stay again, should we return to Hoi an🙂

Positive points: Staff were very welcoming, and happy to help with any organising of our days. Our room was tidy and clean and when we had trouble with the water being cold they were happy to help. This didn’t matter as it was so hot in Hoi an a cold shower was lush. The communal pool area was very relaxing and nice was to meet other travelers .

Review: Close to center town ( 10 mins cycling )but far enough out to be quiet and not busy. Everything is clean and nice. The bathroom in our room is beautiful and clean. The room had a balcony which was nice to sit on and have a bottle of wine. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Free use of bicycles. Pool is beautiful and the deck chairs around it is very comfortable . Would definitely recommend and would absolutely stay again.

Review: Here’re some reasons which I felt not comfortable to stay:
- Facilities & amenities are extremely poor: small pool, no towel at the pool, air conditioning is not cool, very little soap & shampoo, you have to ask for towels everyday, no hot water
-Rooms are big but the decoration is just like a guesthouse - very simple.
- The owner : he turned off the air conditioning every morning from 8am to 10 am even you’re still in the room. When I asked him,he said that he wanted to let it rest for a while (that’s unacceptable to me). He didn’t allow us to have more towels although I asked for. When I asked him about hot water he said that there’s no need to use it in summer although I’m pregnant, just came out of the pool and felt cold in the early morning. He and his wife often stared at us which made us not comfortable at all. I and my husband felt like he was watching everything we did.
- The breakfasts were brought from outside.

Review: We had an amazing stay here. We booked 3 nights and stayed an extra night. Feels like a second home only 10 mins into hoi an. Bicycle hire is free and you can send motorbike. On-site good id lovely and the family who run it are so helpful and bend over backwards to help you. Lovely swimming pool too!

Review: This is the best place if you want to relaxe. It is located in a quiet area just out of the old town, for me it was only a 5 min bike. They offer free bycicles. The owners are very friendly and cook great breakfast and meals. The rooms are very spacious and clean.

Review: Initially planned to stay for 2 days which turned into 17 days in total. The rooms were huge and immaculate with a comfortable bed. Big bathroom - beautifully designed. Very nice swimming pool which was definitely the highlight of our stay. Simple breakfast, though if and should you require something different to suit your needs then do ask as the owners will make something different for you. The kids were nice and would always say hello. Motorcycle rental is available as well as free push bikes. We were sat by the pool at night enjoying cold beer when suddenly a flying cockroach appeared, though the owner went above and beyond to help as he went out of his way to catch it. He also gave us a mosquito bat which was effective in killing them. The owners bought a birthday cake for a fellow guest at the homestay which was a wonderful gesture. My girlfriend recommends the vegetable spring rolls as they were delicious. The location is good as you're not too close to the centre of things which would result in a lot of noise. Renting a motorcycle is recommended as the old town is 5 minutes drive away. You won't find anywhere as cheap as this place. For the price you're paying - it's an absolute steal given its spacious ultra modern rooms plus outdoor swimming pool.

Review: Huge room, very clean but a ways from town and only a few. Free bikes available. Owner is so creepy Always running around with no shirt and wife breastfeeding in lobby all day. Kids at the tv in lobby too. This is a hotel, not a homestay!
