Điểm trừ: I honestly don’t know where to begin. There were issues every day, from the moment I arrived. I’d stated my time of arrival in advance and received confirmation that a porter would meet me, but no one showed up for almost an hour. I couldn’t just walk there myself as I didn’t know where it was and there was no signage. After 30 hours of travelling and flying, it sucked to have no where to go. Then, wifi and electricity would turn off randomly, toilet paper in the room was minimal and not topped up so I ran out and it took hours to obtain some, staff were late to make breakfast so I’d run late to my work meetings, or one day, I couldn’t miss the meeting so I couldn’t eat until it was over and even then, it took 45 minutes from me sitting down and asking for the food to when it came despite being the only guest. Animals had pooped on the floor and it wouldn’t be cleaned for a day. Then my contact stopped replying for days, leaving me without electricity (therefore wifi and air con, unable to work) and I found out from the restaurants the staff haven’t been paid in months so they all quit. Yet the owner said money was missing to me on the phone. I was put in the middle of this situation which was really uncomfortable for me. I was on vacation just trying to work online and didn’t want to be told about the operations. I did appreciate the owner called me when she saw I’d been trying to reach out via booking.com because none of the three numbers listed would reply to me, and felt better to know I had a way of reaching someone. My room was cleaned once in five days, I did decline a cleaning once but I couldn’t find staff the other days and it wasn’t automatic, if you needed anything, even toilet paper, you’d loose 40 minutes. Between the time I spent waiting to go into the villa, times spent waiting for staff who were late, and time spent waiting for electricity / wifi, I lost a work day if around 8 hours. Staying here cost me money, then I paid again in lost wages.

Điểm trừ: Lots of ants and insects in the room, given the fact that the location is right in front of the sea so, it is bearable. Unfortunately, it was raining hard at night during our stay, there was a small flood from the gap of the window (all windows were shut before bed but I guess the rain was hard. Lastly, I was allergic to the water (rash and acne) but understandable from the location close to the beach.

Điểm trừ: Location:rnThe villa is located in Bingin Beach, which is quite trendy and authentic, but access is only by stairs and foot. The way down is manageable, although the stairs are sandy and slippery. The way up is a bit harder, taking about 7-10 minutes. Some parts require extra caution due to construction and construction debris. It is definitely not suitable for small kids, strollers, or disabled people. You should contact your hotel to send a porter to help with your bags. If you have more than one bag, you need to pay 50,000 IDR.rnrnVilla and the Room:rnThe biggest problem was the electricity it was shutting down at least once a day, meaning no air conditioning, no Wi-Fi, and no water. The air conditioner was not working properly, and the fan above the bed barely saved the situation. Another issue was the sound isolation we literally heard everything that was happening in the next room.rnrnService:rnBefore checking in, the manager replied almost immediately. During our stay, the manager took at least 1-2 hours to reply. On our check-out, nobody helped with our bag because the manager didn’t reply to my message. For breakfast, we ordered omelets and coffee. The omelet was okay, but the coffee was the “Bali Kopi” style, meaning all the grounds were inside the cup. I don’t think it’s hard to buy a simple coffee machine or at least a filter for the cofffee machine or at least a filter for the coffee.rnrnPrice:rnThe price is neither too expensive nor cheap. It’s a good price for a good room and service, but we didn’t get that. The place has so much potential, is very pretty and has an incredible view. I hope they can quickly fix all the problems to prevent further customer disappointment.

Điểm trừ: The way to get to the properly is hard and dangerous, and you have to go thru a construction site, with dangerous elements left on the ground . Also the staff disappear at night, if you need anything there is no one to help you

Điểm trừ: Our stay was +$300/night. That is a premium price in Bali (and for the rest of the world as well). Villa V is very far from even being close to standards near $300/night. On a more specific level, these are examples of things at Villa V we found totally unacceptable for $300/night:rn- You have to walk trough construction-sites in order to get to the villa. rn- There are no lights at night. (and you charge people money for help carrying more than one bag?).rn- There is garbage/trash lying around the entire house (e.g. toilet paper in the trees just outside our window.).rn- No staff/security at the villa during the night or any other services whatsoever. This is really not ok at this price-level. You haven't even provided a safe-locker in the room for valuables.rn- There is no minibar, snacks, drinks or similar (The welcome drink was two glasses of water).rn- Old, worn out, towels, with stains on them. ”New” sheets, pillows and curtains are dirty/full of stains/yellow patches.rn- Bathroom smells and there was at times some kind of a stop in the sink so that the water could not flow out.rn- Asked by the staff about when we wanted breakfast, we booked breakfast 8.30 in order to have time to eat before other commitments. When we showed up for breakfast 8.30 and no one was there. Waited for 45 minutes and no one came.

Điểm trừ: There are many steps to get to the villa so it becomes quite a workout. Personally I am ok with it but it might be inconvenient for some people.

Điểm trừ: The power went out one night, I stayed in a different hotel my last night. The host offered me a refund for my troubles I have yet to hear from her. We were not warned about the 300 dangerous steps to get to the property. you can still get the beautiful view and great experience at nearby hotels. This one is very poorly managed. Do not book here, will ruin your holiday.
