Villa Cilinaya

Đánh giá: I’ve stayed here before in the villa behind the pool and that room is fantastic. I booked again but a different room was available and it was not as nice. It really needs to be refurbished. It feels like a 30+ year old room. The lamps are old and one of them didn’t work. The first day, no one restocked my water and tea. The second day I was at the room when they cleaned and I had to specifically ask for these items to be refilled.

The people who work here are friendly as is usual in Bali. But I also had trouble finding anyone around the resort. I went to the front desk a few times and called hello, hello? But no one was around. There are also a lot of random things scattered about the premises that need to be cleaned up. The grounds are beautiful, but all of the random items laying around detract from the ambiance.

Đánh giá: We stayed here for five nights. We booked a deluxe king room, and it was amazing to say the least. Ample space in the room, clean and big bathrooms. The staff made sure to clean the room daily without us even asking for it. It felt really good coming back to a well made up and tidy room. The resort in itself sits in close harmony with nature, and has lush green plants all around, which amplifies its beauty multifolds. This felt like a gem in the heart of Ubud, where all the major locations were in close proximity.
The kitchen was shared between two rooms, but we didn't cook much, so it wasn't much of an issue for us.
All in all, I'm really happy that we chose this stay.

Điểm cộng: The property is very pretty! They take especially great care of the pool area. We spent every day in the pool during our 10 day stay and we loved it.

The staff are friendly, and our room was cleaned every day that we wanted. Air conditioning was very powerful.

The location was great for us. Not in the center of ubud, but close enough to take a quick Gojek (taxi).

Overall it is a great value!

Đánh giá: Great people and great place. Only a 5 minute motorbike ride to central Ubud. Rooms are beautiful.

Điểm cộng: The location has many local small and bigger restaurants within walking distance. We specifically looker for a place with a small kitchen to cook, because our daughter has allergies, and we really need to cook her food especially in Indonesia. That being said, the location has multiple supermarkets within walking distance. Lastly, the host is very friendly, helpful and invested in the place. He helped us with the big water gallons and other things. He is an absolute gem of a host. One more thing, if you like plants and gardens, you will love this place.

Đánh giá: Still very new, the rooms are very well equiped with comfortable beds and much larger than average. Their espresso is excellent and the staff very helpful.

Điểm cộng: We had a great stay. Nice pool and garden area. Clean room, big comfortable bed. There aren’t many properties with kitchen in Ubud so this is great about this place: kitchen, dining and lounge area at the balcony are really nice. The stuff is friendly and descrete. If there is any subject of complaint, it can be easily communicated with the host and the rest of the Cilinaya stuff.

Đánh giá: Fridge needs to be in hotel room rather than put in lounge room.
A list of tv channels that are available in hotel would b useful.
Fridge running cold & air conditioning turned on would be good..instead of being only turned on when we got there.
Great staff in kitchen/reception.

Đánh giá: I don't recommend to stay here actually. Especially, Do not put your money into the safe in the room.
when I stay there last week, I put my valueable goods and money in the safe but 600 us dollors was missing. I realized that after I already moved to other city. I hope you guys keep your money at all the time.

Đánh giá: Nice villa with a large bedroom, bathroom, semi private pool and friendly staff. You could enjoy a calm and relaxing atmosphere there, plus the price is so affordable!

Điểm cộng: The place is beautiful. Not too far from Ubud center in car but too far walking. We rented the villa with private pool, beautiful but the pool is not private, there are cameras inside the kitchen villa and pool. BE CAREFUL they are recording you in the private pool.

The rooms are big and clean and modern, but without any character. The view from the balcony on the far away rice field is nothing spectacular.

Checkin was annoying, cause the whole staff speaks poorly English. I had to speak with the manager on the phone to arrange the checkin. The staff is super friendly and smiling and saying yes to everything, but that does not help much sometimes...

During the whole stay the wifi did not work. The staff tried to fix it, without any success.

The breakfast is included, and okay. Don't ask for extra, they will charge you. The pool is clean, but tiny.

The worst about the hotel is the location - the street is long and busy, but super boring. No cafes, no restaurant. You cannot walk to Raya Ubud/Main Street, it's really too far.

So we rent a motorbike. The hotel wanted to charge us 80.000 IDR/day. Totally overpriced. But we needed a bike to get away from there. And Coz we just used it in the evenings we tried to find a deal, renting it for half day or both days for 80000 or what ever. But the owner - the director of the commercial bank in Denpasar - told us four times: no matter how often u use it you pay for a fuel day blabla... So really, he just wants to rip you off. If you are there, rent a bike somewhere else.

When we finally checked out we asked for transport to our new hotel in central Ubud, they asked for 200.000 IDR (app. 20 USD) - it was really ridiculous.

Let me be frank: stay somewhere else! There are plenty of good hotels in Ubud for the same or better price, with much more atmosphere and kind, helpful people and better services. Cilinaya is a rip off.
