Đánh giá: When my friend and I had first entered the premises of the hotel, I thought I would be impressed with the subsequent stays in here. While overall it is a good stay, however, I feel that this hotel, especially with the spa experience, needs further improvement.

The breakfast was good actually, with a good selection of breakfast items. The food was excellent. The staff there are excellent too and they made sure that you are well taken care of.

However, I feel that their spa needs to have an overhaul of their services to their guests. My friend and I don't have a very good spa experience with the hotel till the point that we have to make a feedback. But their staff managed to rectify the situation and had given a good service recovery, which we both appreciate it very much.

The location of the hotel is situated along the dark alleys of the village (we arrived at around 11pm after out first day tour out) plus it is at least 30 minutes away to the Ubud's city centre area so if you want to head out, I suggest you call Go-Jek to bring you out. Walking out is not an option, to be honest.

The hotel room is all right, the space is just right. However, the pillows are way too soft and when asked upon, the staff mentioned that they don't have a firm pillow and was given another soft pillow instead. So I think this hotel should provide a pillow menu so as to cater to different needs of their guests.

Also, the bathroom toilet's drainage system seems to be slow and hence, the floor is often flooded with water.

Overall, it is a good stay... If you prefer a hotel is quiet, peaceful and close to the nature with river bends around it, then yes, this hotel is. for you.

Điểm cộng: This was an unbelievable place. The staff are incredibly helpful, kind and cheerful. The place is more beautiful than it looks like in the photos. Food and afternoon tea are delicious and breakfast was always Fresha and tasty. This was such a lovely place.

I had an injury when I was there and the cooks came to help me. They carried me around and helped me gather my things to go to the hospital. We also had one of the staff come stay with us at the hospital and take us home.

These are really some very special people. The rooms were top notch, clean and beautiful. The price was very reasonable.

Điểm cộng: beautiful boutique hotel built into a lush creek valley with a super friendly staff. Awesome breakfast and great food to order anytime. Best chicken satay in Ubud. The staff knew us by name and were genuinely interested in us.

Điểm cộng: After experiencing firsthand the absolute horror show of traffic and congestion in Ubud city center, I’m beyond ecstatic to have chosen Merak Village. It’s an easy walk into town as well as the Monkey Forest, Ubud Palace and the Elephant Cave, all while being so far removed from the commotion of town. The property is beautifully manicured yet feels so wild in nature. A beautiful pool is at the center of attention with ample sitting/lounging areas throughout the property. I opted for the included breakfasts which were beyond filling all while being incredibly healthy and meticulously prepared. Daily tea service with a snack really was an added bonus. Massage suite in-site with literally the best pricing in town for either 60 or 90 minute services. Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms with tons of natural light that fills the space. But, what really makes this place is the staff. Such incredibly kind, genuine and caring souls that go out of their way to make sure that your ultimate comfort is obtained, all with beautiful smiles across their faces. You truly do feel at home here.

Having breakfast at the restaurant by the pool was very calming to start the day and it was also nice that the breakfast could be served in the room. My room was very clean and every staff member went above and beyond. I would stay at Merak Village again.

Đánh giá: the hotel gives u forest vibes , I was there with my mother who is afraid of wildlife when I informed the staff they did their best to make sure she is comfortable during our stay , and eventhough the hotel is full of plants we had no issues at all no geckos or lizards or mosquitoes in the room , very clean room and comfortable bed , we had a peaceful sleep , the hotel is very quiet , very good place to relax and to stay when in Ubud not too far for the centre as well around 30 min walk or less .

The place is very well mentioned by super professional and friendly staff, there is a beautiful shrine and if you ask the staff they will teach you the traditional balinese way of praying, they do prayers and flower offerings every day burning incents all around the property which creates beautiful vibe and fills the space with pleasant scents. There is a river running through the property and the soothing soud of running water makes it even more relaxing. I had a great massage too and the food was delicious (not many vegan/vegetarian options on the menu BUT I asked the staff to substitute chicken with mushrooms and they were happy to do it for me). Great value for money. This place is perfect to rest and recover 🥰

Điểm cộng: For us personally it ticked most boxes, it felt cozy, we were warmly treaded , as part of the family,the room was stylish, perfect to our taste, very good bed, and it was spotless clean,and that is the only place we have been that truly was, they made up the room more times a day, we had a very large good breakfast in the room, and complementary afternoon tea, nothing was too much to ask for, and the pool was great too. Thank you and we will come back !

Điểm cộng: This place is awesome! I didn't think there would be a garden and a river right next to the pool. There are tons of breakfast choices, and the staff is super nice and really attentive—big props to them! Plus, it’s just a quick 10-minute stroll to the center, which I really loved.

Điểm cộng: Staff were amazing, rooms well stocked with everything we needed and large comfy beds, pool was lovely and the lush green plants around the hotel were so beautiful - felt you were completely transported out of the city!
