Điểm cộng: Katut the property manager met us upon arrival to give an overview of the property and hand over the room keys. Each villa had a lock and key associated with it. Each villa had an open air bathroom and shower which was beautiful and an A/C unit inside. Free kayaks were available to use which we paddled over to another bay for some amazing snorkeling. There is also decent snorkeling right off the beach in front of the property. Breakfast was served every morning with fresh fruit, eggs, toast and pancakes. Katut was able to arrange poolside messages which was a wonderful experience. We had our own private pool and loungers. This is a beautiful and unique property, especially if you're looking for some deep relaxation and romantic spot with some isolation. We ate at the Galang restaurant across the street which was good and got food delivered most other nights.

Đánh giá: We had the bigger 1. Villa with a huge pool only for us! The house is in traditional way, with wood walls and huge rooms (4 sleep rooms, each with its own bad…it’s better to have a scooter, the location is a little bit isolated and ca 2 km away from good snorkeling spots…
…and by the way, we were visited from a group of 6 dolphins, ca 10m from beach…😉

Đánh giá: We only stayed at The Kampung for two nights but really enjoyed our stay there. Really friendly and helpful staff. Great private pool right next to the beach where you can snorkel. The villas and grounds are really beautiful and breakfast really nice. My only comment would be that the photos are slightly misleading, I think mostly show the slightly larger accommodation next door. We ended up with two separate self contained rooms with bathrooms which suited us fine but not entirely clear from the photos. Maybe an update to the description to detail what each “villa” entails would be good.

Amed in general seems a bit run down and definitely still recovering from covid, e.g. we were often the only people in the restaurants we went to, but is a beautiful location and perfect for those wanting to escape the business of other places in Bali.

The Jambi villa (2 bungalows, 1 kitchen, one bungalow living room) all in wood traditional style is fantastic. Wake up every morning with the sunset on Amed.
Great pool and direct access to the sea (no sand).
Beautiful garden.
And above anything , outstanding and amazing staff that does everything to make you happy and really feel at home in Bali.
Only small point : 40' walking distance from center of Living/alive Amed. However many great Warung just a few steps from the villa.

Đánh giá: The Kampung provides basic continental breakfast and the guests pay only the extra. Regrettably, they charged us everything we consumed and unconsumed which we found that only after checking the bills in Indonesian. They charged us eggs, brown bread and fruits everyday, and a large amount of butter, jam and honey, and even mangosteen (manggis) that never showed on table. Finally , 3 days of extra breakfast for 2 persons charged over 300,000RP.
The same thing happened on lunch and dinner. They bought a large amount of foods, like 72,000RP of carrot, 135,000RP of shrimp, rice, chicken, fruits..., and even one liter of cooking oil, which mostly we consumed less than 10%. Moreover, we order mahi mahi and babi guling from their menu, but they bought them from local restaurant. Therefore, 2 ordinary lunches and 2 ordinary dinners costed us almost 900,000RP, which apparently were unreasonable compared to local restaurant.
Humanity and Trust are the best view while travelling. I have ever been to Bali 5 times. This time I am extremely disappointed.

Upon my arrival, the staff gave me a warm greeting followed by a welcome drink. The bungalow is so beautiful and romantic, the private pool in front of the beach gorgeous.
The staff is so lovely, attended to my every need.The complimentary breakfast was delicious.
If you are looking for an idyllic, peaceful island experience, for peace, or for romance, this is the place for you. I plan to return.
