Điểm cộng: I knew immediately upon arrival that I was going to enjoy my stay at Tanjungan. From the greeting at the dock, to the welcome drink, to our lovely accommodations, everything was smooth, friendly and felt like coming home. Alain, Ita and the ladies were all so genuine and full of giggles. I truly felt like I was amongst old friends. The food was probably the best part of my stay, that cheese plate!!!!nnJust go- relax and enjoy!

Điểm cộng: The food was super delicious, and the vibe is very chill and quiet! The island is walkable and a pleasant, different vibe than being on some of the other more busy islands.

Đánh giá: If you are looking for a real chilled and relaxing glamping experience don't look any further. Alain, the French owner, is super generous, down to earth and funny. The food is great and cheap, the pool is nice and cool and the snorkeling tours are the best value on the island. The restaurant has a great vibe and a nice seaview. The rooms are spacious and private but don't expect hot showers or Aircon.

Điểm cộng: Breakfast, food and drinks were wonderful. Owners and staff did their utmost to make customers feel at home. The first room I had hadn‘t been renovated since pre-covid days and was shabby and not very private. After one night the owner asked me if I‘d like to switch rooms. The second room was beautiful and had a very nice porch. Also, the host arranges transport and very nice snorkeling tours.

Đánh giá: Alain has build a very beautiful designed boutique little hideaway in a shady place in middle of palm and banana trees on a little hill. Very friendly staff.

Alain and Ita have made this home a paradise. it’s beautiful and relaxing, gorgeously designed, with atmosphere and perfect in every way…and the food….. AMAZING! we kept extending our stay and didn’t want to leave at all. thank you for everything!

Đánh giá: Absolutely beautiful place. So quaintly decorated. Time slows down here. I stayed for 4 nights & had a lovely relaxing time. Food at the restaurant is good - highly recommend the shrimp rendang delicious! Beer & cocktails are nice and reasonably priced. The room is clean & comfortable, and even though there's no air con or hot water, you don't really need it as there is always a nice cool breeze & the water is warm anyway. Alain, the owner is a true gentleman. He gave free boat trip from tembongan port to the hotel & also gave the best price for my boat trip on to Gili Layar. Fast boat to Bali can be booked easily from the hotel, or they can arrange the slow ferry. Prices are very good. Things to do: snorkeling trips, kayaking(only 50rp rupiah for your entire stay), diving, exploring the island & friendly locals, eating delicious food in the restaurant.

Điểm cộng: If you visit Gili Gede, definitely stay at Tanjungan Bukit Lodge! My nights there were a one-of-a-kind experience. Ita and Alain are marvelous hosts who welcome every visitor with open arms. Their hospitality by far exceeded my expectations, starting from supporting me to get a boat to Gili Gede from Lombok, organizing various activities on the island and offering to arrange transport back to the mainland.nnThe room I had booked was spacious and very sweetly decorated, I even got a lovely sunrise view just two steps from my door :)nThe resort is located right at a little pier by the beach with great options to take walks around there. Gili Gede is a beautiful island to explore by foot or by sea. Alain also organises snorkeling tours around the island and a scuba dive center is just around the corner as well. nnBukit Lodge also includes a restaurant with exquisite cuisine from Indonesia, France and some other dishes. I had Indonesian food every night and always loved it! Even if you're not staying at the Lodge, I 100% recommend coming by to enjoy the food 🥰nnThank you for everything, Ita and Alain!!

Đánh giá: Don't expect a 5 star resort. It's an isolated island. it's in nature with limited resources. We have to save the environment. You also depend on the tide.nInstead you get lovely views, a wonderful sea breeze, great snorkeling, kayaking, very friendly islanders, a nice walk around the island, boat trips, shell collecting ...nAnd last but not least, really excellent food. The Indonesian-Padang and French with other influences mix means fantastic food. Both Indonesian as Mediterranean type. It's a miracle on such a isolated island.

Đánh giá: This is the definition of the perfect homestay. Stunning rooms overlooking the ocean with the most welcoming hosts, we couldn't have wished for a better holiday. We loved relaxing on our big veranda watching the sunrise and lying in the hammocks for a nap. The food is absolutely amazing, the ideal mix of Indonesian and French, something to suit everyone. Can highly recommend the massage and snorkelling trip too. Tanjungan Bukit Lodge is truly a gem of a find on this authentic and beautiful island. We will definitely be back!
