Sunbee Hotel Insadong Seoul

Positive points: We had a great stay at Rate Hotel Sunbee Insadong. The location is in an area with lots of restaurants and stores all in walking distance, and the metro station is close. All the staff were friendly, very helpful, and spoke English. There is a free laundry room, including laundry soap, which was a pleasant surprise. And for Asia, the room was very spacious and everything was modern and clean. There is free coffee in the morning downstairs, and a kettle and teabags in the room. If it's your first time to Korea, many coffee shops don't open until later in the day, so coffee downstairs makes life much easier.rnI would stay here again we were 100% happy.

Review: We enjoyed our 6 nights at the Sunbee Hotel. Conveniently located and very suitable for our first nights in South Korea. Room was large and comfortable. Terrific bed. Only complaints: a tad pricey, no breakfast and a surprisingly indifferent front desk person. He didn’t look up when you stood in front of him. Seems annoyed to be interrupted from his bookkeeping. So, we didn’t feel very welcome.

Positive points: We loved the location, the room, and the staff at Hotel Sunbee. Mr Han was especially helpful to us on several occasions. He went above and beyond to help us get tickets on the KTX to Busan during a national holiday. The rooms were very comfy, clean, and had everything we needed. Mr Han even loaned us adapters when ours would not work. We enjoyed the deep, clean bath at night after walking thousands of steps each day. We were also just steps away from the main shopping street in Insadong. We were also close to Anguk and Jungo Station. Highly recommend!

Review: My and husband and I stayed for 5 nights and we had a wonderful stay. The location in Insadong-gil was close to the two palaces and lots of places to eat around.

Positive points: The hotel was close to everything. Three places were within a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel (opposite directions. There was a street market the next street over and most attractions in Insadong and Myeongdong can be accessed easily by walking or by bus. Love the hotel. I stayed in a Korean style room (more traditional). The rooms big are very quiet so you don’t realize you have neighbors until someone gets on the elevator. The staff is extremely nice and very helpful. They are willing to answer any questions you have, order a taxi for you (if needed) or provide help in finding the right bus. I had questions about times for the airport (best time allowance) and they helped me make sure I got to the airport with plenty of time to spare.

Review: Hotel Sunbee is located in the center of everywhere. Hotel is very quiet and clean. Highly recommend.

Positive points: The room was INCREDIBLE. We really enjoyed the Korean Style room. The floors were heated, the bathroom was big and very practical. The small lobby at the entrance of the room was ideal for shoes. It's definitely not a cheap hotel but it was worth the price! The location is food but the access is a bit weird

Review: Quiet hotel, about 8-10 minutes walk to the metro. There are 2 convenience store nearby, and one supermarket. nStaff are really helpful and polite. They were able to assist with taxi booking.

Review: This is a fantastic little hotel tucked away in Insadong… stone’s throw away from the Jogyesa temple and alleys filled with the best souvenirs. The room’s are big and spacious and the facilities are also excellent. The staff is also extremely helpful and kind. Would highly recommend and will be a repeat patron myself.

Positive points: This was the most comfortable hotel we stayed in during our travels in Japan and Korea. The beds were super soft and comfy, and the hotel and neighborhood were exceedingly quiet. We felt very fortunate for that! Having our room tidied up each day and towels replaced was a welcome bonus after staying in several hotels that didn't offer this basic service. The free laundry facility in the basement was such a relief as well! I would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat!

Review: Nice location & spacious room

Positive points: Large room, clean, very quiet. But located just steps away from the central shopping and cultural hub of insadong. Staff all spoke English wells d were incredibly helpful and welcoming.

Review: Hotel Sunbee has great rooms, it is located close to most tourist attractions while being in a quiet street. The beds and the staff are great. This is the second time I stay in this hotel and will certainly come back if I stay in Seoul again.
