Review: Excellent location with local restaurants! Very convenient
Positive points: The location is great, walking distance to the palaces and it is middle of the city. It is close to the station and you could walk to the City Hall, where many DMZ tours' meeting spot.nThe bathroom is big and lots of water for taking shower. The room is also large and had four beds for each of us.
Negative points: Our room was in the basement where no windows exist. I would recommend regular rooms so there is no issue of sleeping over as you could not tell the morning or night in the room.
Review: Everything ok
Positive points: Location is great. Walking distance to the two northern palaces and right next to Jogyesa temple. Our room was a bit dated(eg torn/wrinkled wallpaper) but it was a good size for a family and clean. There were many outlets in the room, so easy to charge everything. Despite the listing saying no internet, it had very fast WiFi. The roof deck is nice. There is also a microwave and small indoor eating area as well.
Negative points: The room was too hot. It had heated floors and there was no way to turn them off. We finally managed to somehow get the AC on but no control over the temperature, but it made it tolerable. Staff said there was nothing they could do because it wasn’t summer. Our room had “futons” but they were really just a few blankets on the floor. We were expecting Japanese-style fluffy futons, but maybe this is normal for Korea.
Positive points: I really liked this guesthouse. It was so cozy and had a very homey feel to it, like you were staying the night at one of your girl friend’s house. The host was very kind and accommodated our very late check in. The breakfast was so tasty and vegetarian friendly. Its in a great location. I only wish we stayed here longer!
Review: Place included discounted parking available. They notified us when we forgot our phone in the room after checkout. Highly recommended.
Positive points: The location of the guesthouse was great! The room was pretty large for the price. The room was very clean and pretty quiet.
Negative points: The beds weren't very comfortable. (similar to a dorm mattress).
Review: Nice Suites. Nearby station & Easy to find spot nearby
Positive points: I really liked the area that it is located.
Negative points: I really hoped they had an elevator cause I had heavy luggage and carried it by myself.
Review: Good stay. Location is near palace. Good if your fond of walking in the neighborhood.
Positive points: The location was very closed to many things that wanted to see. Like the palace and temples.
Negative points: There was no hot water and the beds were very uncomfortable.
Review: It was good experience. Staff is helpful and accommodating. Though most of the time there's no one at the front desk but its understandable because it has a self service policy. But host is very responsive if you reach out. Overall its good.
Positive points: The location was perfect and the rooms were good as well
Positive points: Location was excellent. Clean, comfy rooms. Most everything was casual do-it-yourself. We did see someone briefly at check-in, but not at check-out. We never did see anyone on our return stay a few days later. Luggage storage behind counter was convenient though not secured.
Review: Near convenient store and local restaurants. Room not clean but always give us free water bottle and small towel
Positive points: GREAT location! Right next door to Jogyesa Temple and bus stop. Easy walking to the 2 big palaces, Insa-dong street, and Hanok Village. Comfortable beds, new bottles of water each day, outlets near bed for phone charging, little toiletteries kit, nice air conditioning in first room a few days ago, but we couldn't read the Korean on this one so think we turned the heat on instead, or at least couldn't figure out how to change the temperature. Our problem, not the hotel's! Best part of all? Right around the corner from a choffle shop! The cinnamon ones are highly recommended!
Negative points: Call me old-fashioned, but these showers with only half a door are difficult for me! Water everywhere. Could've used a couple more towels. These were really small, even by Korean standards. No one at front office except upon arrival on our first stay here. All was self-help, check-in/out. No one to answer quick questions, but a phone number was available. No kitchen or breakfast. Maybe that's normal for Seoul.
Positive points: Location is top
Negative points: Room is a little wet, clothes doesnt dry
