9.0 Great getaway B&B for beautiful, quiet view of the ocean and sunrise - Eugene 22-08-2022

Positive points: The service was terrific. We were picked up (and dropped off) at the airport by the proprietress' son. He was extremely friendly and helpful with our many questions about our vacation plans. The proprietress and her son helped with scooter reservations (and also checked for car rentals, but those were fully booked), described the many ferry/tour options and helped book ferry/tour reservations.rnrnWe loved our unit's second floor eastward-looking picture windows (not all units have them) - perfect for viewing the ocean & sunrise from inside if you so choose. WangWang has benches and pavilions with unobstructed views of the ocean, so it's easy to just walk outside and enjoy a peaceful sunrise. In the evenings, aside from lights from distant large fishing boats (we think), it's also a great place to view the constellations, the Milky Way and, on the nights of our stay, Jupiter & Saturn.rnrnEverything was very clean and our stay was extremely comfortable.

Negative points: Just a couple of minor suggestions. rnIt would be helpful to include handwashing soap for the bathroom sink (or maybe provide a small shower gel dispenser at the sink).rnIt's a bit inconvenient having to pack our own bath towels (we almost forgot ours), but I suppose that's the part of the B&B's mission of being more environmentally friendly.

Positive points: Really nice cabins off the beaten path. The owners were very nice and accommodating. The room itself was very clean and spacious. It was super quiet at night and the beds were comfy. Definitely recommend!

Negative points: The only small complaint I have is that I thought that they would provide breakfast but they actually just gave us coupons to a local shop and we had to go and pick it up ourselves. Then rented us a scooter to use but I think if you couldn't drive a scooter that it would be difficult to take advantage of the breakfast. Maybe they mentioned this somewhere and I missed it but yeah it was not ideal.
