3.2 The Poppy Villa and Hotel - Pragati 18-01-2025

Review: The room was stinking as soon as we entered. It was damp and moist. There was a sandbox with cigarette stubs in the balcony that we had to ask the staff to remove. The stairs were partially chipped off. The room walls were chipped in many places. The staircase was very steep and narrow. nnThe place was not like the images put up. The place is not very well maintained.

Negative points: In right hands this hotel & building itself has a huge potential to be a great hotel, but nobody cares. nnVery dirty rooms, mold all over the walls, not very safe - our room was tried twice. The building in front of the hotel starts at 6am even on weekends. Terrible hall and reception, staff does not speak English. From the blankets - only a duvet. We asked for another blanket, because the air conditioner was very strong - stuff brought a similar, thin blanket. No elevator, paint is falling off the walls, toilet smells of sewer, balcony all dusty. nThis is the worst hotel I’ve stayed at and was happy to leave.

3.0 Disappointing - Huong 09-01-2023

Positive points: large bathroom

Negative points: This place is old and smells like an abandon fridge. The balcony is not even close to the pictures. It’s too dusty and has no chairs or tables. So if you’re thinking about booking this place for the balcony, you’ll be disappointed. The stairs are covered in a ripped old carpet which is so disgusting. But it’s not the worst part yet. This place is close to a construction site so we could barely sleep at night due to the noise. Not mention the fact that the laundry room where they wash the sheets is dirty as well. With this price, you can find much better places in HN

Review: It is tired and needs a deep clean from top to bottom. We had 4 nights booked, but could only bring ourselves to stay for 2 nights. The staff did not care, there customer service skills, were non existent. I do not recommend.

Review: Nice location, good staff, the room is okay, and there's parking right at the door (not sure if it's manageable with many cars). nBut: there’s no elevator, and it can be quite difficult for pregnant women to reach the 5th floor the balcony door cannot be locked, and especially, there are very annoying noises. nI’m not sure how the other rooms are, but we stayed in room 501 on the top floor: around 2 a.m., there seemed to be the sound of a water pump that wouldn’t work (I guess) with intermittent jerks followed by a rush. It would stop for a few seconds, then continue again. nThis noise lasted until morning, keeping my partner and I awake, but thankfully our child slept well. nWe reported this to the staff the next morning, but the staff member was also unsure about the noise and mentioned it could be coming from another room. nI truly hope it was just a one-time occurrence for us if it happens multiple times, the hotel should check and address it as soon as possible.

Review: Khách sạn trên thực tế rất cũ, cơ sở vật chất tồi tàn và không sạch. Cầu thang di chuyển bẩn, thảm rách, các thiết bị trong phòng cũ và hỏng thì sửa chữa tạm bợ. Lối lên phòng nghỉ đi qua khu vực để đồ vệ sinh khách sạn thì chứa đầy khăn và rác dùng rồi vứt trên sàn. Phòng hơi có mùi. Hơi tiếc cho một địa điểm từng khá tốt. Không thích hợp để nghỉ ngơi khi đi du lịch.

Review: Central location. However, the room is a bit old, and some lights are broken, making the room quite dark at night. The hotel should address this issue.
