Review: Tri and Moon are the sweetest people on the planet. They arranged transportation, guided us upon request, have a cooking school on property, and the setting is beautiful. If you are into authentic country living and experiencing the real deal then you should book your stay here. I recommend renting their scooter and exploring. Riding bicycles through the rice fields was fun too. Lovely people and lovely stay.

Positive points: Moon and Tri are very kind hosts and they make you feel at home right away. The location, in Tra Que Village between the city and the beach, was great and peacefull. Breakfast was delicious.

Review: The hosts are very nice, friendly, supportive.... The location is not very far from An Bang beach, so it's convenient to go to the beach by bicycle, or even walk. Will get back again

Review: I've been travelling across Vietnam for nearly two months and staying in many different places, but this is my favourite place by far! I originally booked for 3 nights but ended up staying for 7. 

The Moon River Homestay & Villa is a hidden gem in the historic Tra Que Vegetable Village. Its unique location offers a peaceful retreat in an authentic Vietnamese community, while also being conveniently situated between the Ancient Old Town and the Beach. It's a perfect blend of tranquillity and accessibility to all the local tourist attractions.

The Moon River Homestay & Villa itself is really clean and well-designed, creating a very relaxed atmosphere. It has a calm and cosy vibe and a comfortable bed. This place is great if you're looking to chill out and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding nature.

The Hosts of Moonriver Homestay, a lovely Vietnamese couple, are the epitome of hospitality. Their warm and friendly nature instantly makes you feel at home. Their deep knowledge of the local culture and excellent recommendations for exploring Hoi An and its surrounding area are invaluable.

Also, the breakfast included is delicious they're both excellent cooks. On my final day, the Hosts of Moonriver Homestay even took me out for breakfast and made me a traditional Vietnamese lunch from freshly sourced ingredients. I couldn't have had a better time in this place – it was perfect!

If you come to Hoi An, I 100% recommend you stay here, it's wonderful :)

Review: I stayed here for 12 days. From the moment you arrive your hosts Tri and Moon are so welcoming. Make use of their Da Nang airport transfer and you will save half of the cost of a taxi. The Villas are basic but have aircon, fan, fridge, large bathrooms and comfortable king size beds. It is situated a few kms from the ancient town of hoi an and about 1.5 km from An bang beach. It’s an easy bicycle ride to both, and here you can use their bikes for free. They also have small motorcycles for hire charging less than normal rate. The place where this honesty is situated is quiet and serene. You have views of the river, palm trees and the vegetable gardens which this area is famous for. The pool is clean and gets shade in the late afternoon. Breakfast is cooked by the hosts and you decide what time you would like it. The menu is limited but the food is fresh and very good. The hosts Moon and Tri also run Thai cooking classes which are popular with guests and outside guests. This area of Hoi an is very special and the hosts are extraordinary people who speak English and will help you with anything. I can’t thank them enough for the effort they both put in to make my stay comfortable. Overall a wonderful experience.

Positive points: It is a 5stars Homestay in a lovely mostly quiet, green and very authentic area in Hoi An. I recommend it to everyone who prefers the sounds of birds over the sounds of motorbikes. It is very easy to get to a bank, market, shops in town or to the beach by simple bicycles provided for reasonable price. I loved my river view and enjoyed the swimming pool, that was warm and good enough size for a little swimming. I loved Tra Que Village with is wide green gardens, where the Homestay is located. Moon and Tri made me feel taken care of very well. I would come back here!

Review: I was there for 2 days. It so fresh and natural. The owner very nice.

Positive points: Nice clean room with you're one bathroom. Warm water, Airco. The owner and his wife where verry friendly. After checking out I still could use the swimmingpool. They even brought me to the bus pickup location.

Review: Absolute gem of a homestay. Tri and Moon, the hosts, are probably the nicest people you will ever meet which makes for a delightful stay.

The rooms are large with king sized bed, aircon and large bathroom and are very clean. The balcony overlooks the river.

The location is great. It's in the village which has a coffee shop and a mini market. And it's a 2 minute cycle before you're cycling through the rice paddies and beautiful scenery.

Bikes are available from the homestay.

Delicious breakfast is included too.

Airport transfer and pickup available too.

And it has a swimming pool!

Cannot recommend high enough.

Positive points: Location is amazing - located on the island, next to the garden fields, close to the centre and close to the beach.
Owners were nice, allowed us early check in and free room upgrade. View from the room super nice, pool was okay and breakfast tasty.

Review: Except for the sometimes weak wifi, everything else is great. The host is quite friendly and lovable, even inviting us to have lunch together when we returned. The homestay also offers airport pick-up service and teaches how to cook local dishes!

Positive points: Breakfast was great, there is a menu for you to choose from. The place was nicely hidden within a far , so the view and atmosphere was great!

Review: It’s a long ways to the main tourist area, so without transportation that means a lot f taxis. But it was quiet and peaceful, in an agricultural satellite of Hoi An. The room was adequate, and the view lovely. It’s listed as a homestay, but the owners don’t actually live there. The room was clean. But for the three nights I was there no one came in to make up the room, which surprised me.

Positive points: Tri and his stuff are very friendly and supportive. We really like the location of the homestay just outside of Hoi An in the vegetable village. So if you prefer nature and more quiet, it its a great homestay. You need to rent a scooter to get into the City of Hoi An (You can rent it at the homestay). It's just a 7-minute drive to the Center of Hoi An.
We enjoyed our stay and would come back again (as we already did, it was our second time, staying at the moonriver homestay)

Positive points: This homestay is on the island which means it is away from the hussle and bussle of the city centre. It is perfect to relax and even get in touch with nature if you want to. The owners, Tri and Moon are phenomenal. They are kind, caring and willing to inlcude you in all of their activities (if you wish to do so). It is a 5 - 10 minute drive to the old town on a scooter and the same distance from the beach. They have a beautiful pool on the property, which meant we did not even need to go to the beach to swim. I would recommend this place to everyone. It was wonderful.
