Review: We had a lovely time staying at The Island Lodge. A nice, clean, and spacious room with an exceptionally comfortable bed.

The really helpful and kind staff made our stay perfect.

We’ll be staying here again when we come back from the Mekong Delta.

Positive points: Funky cool and really chill. Great pool and Sauna. Beautiful views of Mekong. The food at the restaurant was some of the best we have had in Southeast Asia. Because it was the day before Tet we had the place to ourself, but the staff and manager could not have been nicer and helpful. My Tho sees very few western tourists but was our favorite place in the Mekong Delta. Highly recommend.

A gem in the rural area of Vietnam

Review: Everything - and I mean ev-er-y-thing about this place is sublime. There are very few rooms, which means it's quite private. The pool is lovely, the grounds are well-maintained and peaceful. The food is just fine, and there's even a vegetarian menu. The only less-than-perfect part of our stay was the loud family with three children under the age of 5 that we shared the resort with for two days. I think it's wonderful that people with children get the chance to take holidays together, but in my opinion this resort is not for children - while the family was checking in the little boy, who had been running round the lobby, slipped and fell into the fish pond. Between the screaming baby, hollering toddlers, pool-side nappy changes, and sibling squabbles, it was a mood-killer. I'm not saying children shouldn't go on weekend holidays, but parents, please choose your venue wisely.

Review: The very nice French couple running the place is very dedicated to their place with warmth, a sense for details, a positive attitude towards their staff members and extremely client oriented. Breakfast is brilliant, we stayed in the garden rooms without direct view but liked the garden view and would definitively come back! Ask for the vegetarian menu if needed, there is one, too.

Review: Amazing property, rooms were authentic but modern and clean, waterfront to the Mekong, staff were extremely helpful and had great customer service skills, make sure you eat at the restaurant the food was delicious, the owners greeted us on arrival they live at the resort.

Review: The Island Lodge is a superb getaway, boutique luxury lodge on Thoi Son Island in the Mekong Delta. What we found most impressive about the lodge was the attention to detail, the service and the care the proprietors, Michel and Francoise, provide to the guests. The food is excellent, the staff is very attentive to all of our needs, and the view of the river from the swimming pool makes everything so relaxing.

We really enjoyed our two days, two nights at the Island Lodge and highly recommend it for anyone with or without children. It is such a worthwhile getaway from Ho Chi Minh City.

Review: This is a lovely little lodge hidden away in a beautiful spot facing the river. We only stayed one night but really enjoyed the facilities and view from our balcony. The staff are very courteous and professional and take great care serving guests. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and enjoyed delicious French and local cuisine. The food was excellent. We especially liked the idea of a breakfast menu to limit waste that often occurs with buffetes. My only complaint is that the bathroom was a little dark but that’s a minor thing! Overall a short but very pleasant stay. Thank you.

Review: Came for a quick getaway for peace and quiet from Saigon and was very satisfied. Staff great with attentive service, pool and rooms spacious with great views. Recommend River view for views of Mekong in lieu of garden (though Garden suites more private).
Food was impressive as isolated locations can produce odd western dishes or sub standard meals- but everything was delicious. Will be back.
