Tay Bac Hotel Da Nang

Review: Housekeeping staff were the only positive I would say. Reception staff, particularly when I checked out were rude and accused me of stealing an umbrella, which was found soon after and she didn't even take time to apologise. When I complained to staff about unacceptable levels of noise at 6am when the hotel chose to allow about 200 kids to book in, I was ignored and laughed at. When I raised this with Reception staff on checking out I was told it did not happen. So 1 time I'm accused of being a thief, 2nd time I'm accused of being a liar. I guess solo travellers from other countries are not this hotels bread and butter but to treat a visitor like this is completely unacceptable. Housekeeping staff were typical Vietnamese, quick to laugh and smile and engage in conversation despite language barriers. Great bunch but Reception staff were terrible

Positive points: The staff was super helpful and accommodating. They were flexible with letting us change rooms. They also let us check-in early. The hot water and AC also worked well.

Review: All overall the hotel is quite good nearby main road and beach also easy to access spa, mini mart, and laundry around the hotel area just walking.

Positive points: The location is good near the sea if there is not a windy season. Such as there were enormous waves, we had no opportunity to swim, that is why I would better choose the other hotel at the streets with vegan cafe. The cleaning of the room was ok. It is cheap.

Positive points: Room 805 was very good with window. This hotel is not actually sea facing but in back street. Stayed there for two nights. Very good staff, every day on return, I found my room clean and fresh.

Review: The hotel is located in a tourist spot, clean, comfortable, with friendly and polite staff, and good prices.

Positive points: Location - very near the beach, many restaurants and supermarkets near by. Hotel changed everyday bedsheets and offered toothbrushes with toothpaste, clean towels, water and coffee

Review: Stayed in room 807, very clean and the windows were good at soundproofing. Bed comfortable. Breakfast had a good range of different foods. Staff on reception were all friendly and spoke English quite well. They were happy to show me some different rooms until I was happy with one at the side of the hotel. Can walk to the beach in 3 mins

Positive points: great location. 2 minute walk to the beach. thoughtful staff decorated the room for our anniversary 😁 chair was comfy.
