Negative points: We were upgraded to the Deluxe rooms. They were both run down. The drain in the shower was blocked and water stayed in a puddle the whole time whilst showering :( rnRoom looked and smelt mouldy, not very clean at all.rnrnLady in the pool kept staring at us on arrival. The young boy who showed me to my room turned the lights on to show me around. I went to visit my friends next door and as I was returning to my room the lady in the pool informed she was the owner. Abruptly told me there was no need for me to have a light on in my room during the day.. Pretty rude as I didn't even turn it on in the first place.

Positive points: We stayed here for 5 nights and were sad to leave. The property's beautiful, has a wonderful pool, with enough chairs and shade to relax. Large rooms, comfy bed, very clean, and a great breakfast (choice between American and Indonesian). Staff was very kind. The restaurant on site is opened for lunch and dinner as well, and there are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The hotel also rents out good bicycles if you want to explore further. We will definitely come back if we come back to Bali and recommend it to everyone.

Negative points: Our first room had an odd smell, but after we asked the staff about it, they switched us to a different room, which was perfect!

Positive points: Very friendly staff and extremely helpful. Pool area is nice and relaxed. Spacious room (received a complimentary upgrade). Centrally located

Negative points: Room a bit outdated and smelly.

Review: A beautiful old style hotel. The garden surrounding the central pool is lovely. The pool is very warm so not as refreshing as it could be. The staff are kind and will do anything to help. The rooms are spacious and clean but are tired. The grout is dirty and the bathroom could do with renovating. This is the only place in Bali where the air con is not strong enough. The food is delicious from the restaurant. Would absolutely stay here again.

Review: The staff are both friendly and efficient. Great location, the room is clean and spacious, albeit the bathroom is a little worn out. The food menu is decent, but I would have liked to see more variety in the menu.
