Positive points: A standard hostel. Bed was clean when I arrived.
Negative points: I think it's weird that towels are allowed to be hanged outside the locker. The locker is the first thing guests saw when entering the 2nd floor. It made the place looks messy. Another thing I didn't like is my key can open any locker. I didn't put anything inside after knowing this. I slept with my bags. My door room is hard to close fully, people just started to partially open it, the door was eventually never locked during my stay.
Review: The worst hostel I stayed within 4 months of travel. In the 3 days I was there - not once were the bathrooms cleaned. There is no toilet paper, I even asked and they don’t have it. When I arrived the sheds were dirty. After I told them, they changed. It’s dirty everywhere. Location good, staff trying to be helpful within their possibilities. Also there is no way of contacting them before arrival, they just ignored messages via instagram and mail
Positive points: Very comfy bed with a curtain that allows you a sense of privacy!! Everything was very clean, and the AC worked perfectly 👌🏽
Negative points: I didn't notice anything since I was there for just one night.
Review: Cocok buat yg backpackeran. Kamarnya seperti hotel kapsul. Tapi kamar mandi sepertinya kurang terawat ada bau pesing.
Positive points: Pretty good place to sleep. Bed was comfortable. They Held My bags for the day while I waited for the train. Cold water was nice!
Negative points: No soap or toilet paper was available
Review: Lokasi sih dekat Kayutangan & Alun2, tapi AC tidak selalu dinyalakan. Saya sampai 2x minta AC dinyalakan (remote dibawa staf), tapi alasannya kena timer. Jadilah tidur dgn kepanasan
Positive points: There were a lot of travelers but not social
Negative points: It was super dirty, no toilet paper, shower with barely any pressure. Staff just laid down smoking most of the time and not too helpfully. Bed sheets stained, and capsules were super dirty if you had the bottom bunk then you felt like ants were crawling on you. The door to the rooms were hard to open. Looks modern in picture but very much is not.
Positive points: The hostel was fairly clean. Close to food options and plenty of malls. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Opportunity to meet fellow travellers
Negative points: Nothing
Positive points: Overall was okay for backpackers people, near by Alun Alun Malang, close to many things/ places and food stalls.
Negative points: Reception was missed my request, I had to extend and paid, but my belongings were moved without my permission, they said sorry afterwards.
Review: If you are a backpacker, solo or a group, this is one of the best place to overnight in a middle of the city. Near by train station and local street food. And the staff can speak English to assisst you if any.
Positive points: Honestly there is absolutely nothing to be liked at this hostel, I only stayed for one night (was planning to stay there for 2 nights) but it's enough to want to leave
Negative points: Except for the staff, everything. I mean they don't even put soap to wash your hands in the toilets...
Positive points: friendly staffs and simple amenities
