Saigon Garden Homestay

Positive points: The food was great. The family and staff were welcoming and we had many hours of conversation. The grounds are peaceful and lush with water, flowers, fruit trees, and vegetable plots. It is in Saigon but a pastoral, rural setting just two kilometers from city life. The quiet! So rare in a Vietnamese city, especially HCMC. My room had a mosquito net and fans but they also have air conditioned rooms. They arranged my onward travel and I learned about the family history. Such wonderful people, I will go back, certainly.

Positive points: Great people! Very kind host. They really treated me like family. Cozy nature hideaway tucked away outside of the city. A great place to rest and relax. They will cook you (and teach you how to make) great Vietnamese food. Learned a lot about the history of Vietnam and even some basic Vietnamese from An and her mother. Will be coming back! Thanks!

Review: The host is very nice and enthusiastic. However, the road leading in is a bit bad. It is more suitable to go alone than with a large group. The bathroom is quite inconvenient and needs improvement. Living close to nature, there are quite a few mosquitoes and ants. In my personal opinion, the daytime experience is okay and healing, but it's only suitable for a short-term stay. For a long-term stay, it might be a bit difficult for those who prefer cleanliness. 🥲

Review: There are a lot of obstacle courses to do for kids and adults. If you’re looking for a farm experience , this is the place. Just don’t expect much coz the place is just primitive. We had a wonderful stay and our kids love to go back .

Review: Cô chú chủ nhà thân thiện. Giá cả thuê phòng so với chất lượng không hợp lý. Nếu đi chơi trong ngày thì được. So sánh với các khu du lịch bên Đồng Nai thì không bằng.
