OYO 92275 Tastura Homestay

Positive points: The family is lovely, the location is perfect to get to the waterfalls by foot, and the room is clean. nWe asked to have dinner that night as there are not many options in the area and we had great local food and shared some good times with the host and other tourists.

Positive points: One of the most accommodating host we met.we had a wonderful and memorable stay.beautiful village and people and great food.thanks to hosts Ipul and Okan.will miss u guys.

Review: We we arrived the owner said that the old owner still runs the Agoda listing as a way of making money off people, so make sure to book on a different booking site. When we arrive the new owner said he has no space for us and that this is an issue he's dealing with each day. Looks like a really nice accommodation and the new owner was also very nice too. Just a shame this derailed our time in the area

Review: Beware ⚠️⚠️⚠️ This is a scam. Apparently there are two separate postings of this place. I'm assuming all the positive reviewers managed to book through the real posting, which I never found or ever came across. If you see this listing under the company OYO, it's a scam, according to the host of this place. He claimed he asked OYO and Agoda to take it down but they refuse and if you book through OYO the owner or host don't receive the money, at least that's what the he said ..He could very well just be pocketing the money and then when you show up give you a sob story and then ask you to pay triple the original booking price. I showed up, no one was around, the room was unlocked, but it was dirty, no sheets, blankets or anything, so it didn't even seem like he tried to prepare for my stay, just in case I decided to pay what he asked. I was annoyed cause he really didn't try to remedy the situation, basically said it's not his fault, pay more or get out, but at least he arranged me a taxi to get to a new place ..He new all the local host that was in his area and told me all of them were all the same price...which felt off to me, but he and anyone he knows lost my trust, so I just left and found another Homestay that I ended up staying a week and it was absolutely lovely...It was Kuning Cottage Homestay, about 45mins from this place but close to a bunch or different waterfalls, not just the one. Again I was disappointed, cause all the reviews I read said how great this host was, but too me he was just fool of excuses. I told him he should have tried to do more to prevent ppl from booking this if it's a scam...Some ppl drive two hrs to get there, to only be told pay more or leave. I've seen other host post on Google Reviews warning ppl not to book it through a scam posting and even when I told him that he just shrugged and kept blaming everyone else but himself. Anyway if you find the non Oyo post then I guess it will be fine...But I would just pass...Mabe it use to be good, but not anymore ..But I could be wrong

Review: If you refer exactly Google map, you have to go through very small road and sloppy hill to drive. Be aware of the terrible road. Other than that, it is located too near to the waterfall. Great village.
