Review: Good location and the owner very nice
Review: We reached there by 5.30 pm . But owner said , he has given our room to some other guests. And no room available. We have already texted owner that we will reach by 5.00 pm, still they gave our room to someone else. I dont recommend this property at all. Dont waste your time.
Positive points:
We had a great time at this Villa, the owners are super nice (we mostly interacted with the wife), and helped us through the process of creating custom leather boots, that turned out great, at a reasonable price. Communication despite the language barrier was easy, as she was quick to pull out Google translate. She also showed us a great Tailor.
We would recommend this to anyone staying in Hoi An, as the location is just amazing.
Negative points: The pictures on Booking.com is a bit off from the actual rooms.
Positive points:
We love the property mainly because the couple who ran it were the loveliest people. They washed our clothes, gave us bikes for free, ordered us discounted taxis and were so nice to talk to. They even taught us some Vietnamese!
The location is close to the old town and so convenient. It has a great coffee place two doors down and was the cheapest coffee we had all of our stay in Hoi An.
Room was very big, had a lovely bathroom and a smart TV which was an added bonus!
Negative points: All was brilliant
Positive points: The host family does not speak English, but will do their best to help you with the help of a translator. The bikes were a nice extra. A little further away on a quieter side street, where you don't hear much city noise. The beds were comfortable.
Negative points: My experience did not match other reviews. The pictures of the apartment do not come close to the reality. Instead of a good desk chair, the room has a wobbly garden chair. The size of the room is stated to be 30 square metres, but in reality it is 15 at most. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything that goes on in the room below. The bed linen was dirty and the room was not cleaned once during the whole stay and there were also a lot of ants in the room. The room was on the 3rd floor and there was no lift. You should be prepared to pay in cash, although when you make the reservation you are told that a card is accepted as a means of payment.
Positive points:
The owners are very friendly and lovely.
The location is good to explore.
The room is clean.
Overall, it's good value for money.
Negative points: I think wifi is not strong depending on the room.
Positive points: Our stay at Oscar Villa and Apartments was amazing. We initially had booked to stay here for 3 nights but decided to extend our stay for a fourth night. The husband and wife who own the Villa are so nice and helpful, they had no problem offering us water and fresh towels. We communicated with them through google translate and it was so efficient. They also have a laundry service that is very fast. We would highly recommend the use of the bicycles also, which you can use for free to cycle around Hoi An and take in the scenery.
Positive points: The owner of the family run apartment was very nice and helpful clean room comfortable stay
Negative points: No lift
Positive points: Very good pepole very good service
Positive points: Very good location. Comfortable and clean. The guy who looked after us was very nice and always had translate ready for us to talk to each other. Air con in room was great.
