Positive points: We were welcomed very warmly and, even though it was cold, we were kept warm and cozy!
Negative points: Note that the compound consist of multiple hotels. Some of the hotels host karaoke parties in the evening with very loud music (we had some issues having a normal conversation in our room). The music stops promptly at 10 PM but some singing might continue somewhat later. We had no issues with this but if you are a light sleeper this might pose some issues.

Positive points: The manager Penny was lovely, speaks very good English and made us very welcome. She also ensured we had some amazing vegetarian food.
Negative points: The accomodation could do with sprucing up a little

Review: The home is very cute with an exclusive valley view, and the host is friendly and enthusiastic. Everyone should try the grilled set and hot pot here, it's delicious in the cold weather, plus a bottle of corn wine is a must =))

Positive points: The view from the room was amazing. It was beautifully designed. The highlight was the host family, they were so friendly, genuine and extremely nice.

Positive points: Exceptional Homestay, probably the best Homestay in the village for views from the balcony. Shu and Penny and staff were excellent host’s. We were invited for a family dinner and everyone made us feel at home. Shu invited us for a trek up the mountain to see the local Hmong village. The views were amazing. Would highly recommend staying here.
