Natah Bale Villas

Positive points: Bird song at 4am. Coi pool outside the door. Orchids on the trees and Imagining the beauty, shade and bird habitat of 3 very old missing trees. nnHint: Much nicer than Puri Santrian across the street except for access to beach and breakfast.

Review: What a unique villa / outdoor living space. Accommodation was amazing and Andi and his staff were all exceptional.

Positive points: The location was superb and grounds are spectacular. The interior however needs an update including furniture.

Review: This place is amazing. A real gem in the middle of Sanur, only a short walk to the beach. The villas are amazing with a huge lawn and beautiful pool. The staff couldn’t be any nicer. The restaurant next door (Jungle Tree) is great too! Can’t fault the food, drinks or staff, they are all amazing! Everyone has been so great with the kids as well. We will definitely be back!!

Review: Villas, set in spacious grounds with not just a room but a private leisure area, your own kitchen, well equipped with cups/glasses plates etc.nBedroom had a/c, plus a fan, bathroom also large, with bath and outdoor shower.nStaff were exemplary both in the villa and the grounds.nThe only problem was the adjacent bars which often put on late night music shows, which were very loud. However, we got used to it after the first couple of nights. Newly opened restaurant on the grounds served excellent breakfast and lunch. Their staff were also exemplary. Have already booked for next year.

Positive points: Reasonable price, responsive staff, big rooms and outdoor spaces. Great for family with kids.

Review: We loved our 3 night stay here! We had villa 3 which is a single room villa. Separate open Bali style living area and outdoor kitchen. Staff in twice a day to tend to clean towels and keeping everything so neat and tidy. Garden is kept spotless! Would love to see a brighten Up of the kitchen area is my only suggestion to improve. Looking forward to next time! Thankyou to all the staff

Positive points: Big area with three buildings, kitchen and living areas open. Bedroom closed.

Review: The staff are extremely helpful. The space is open and friendly and relaxed.. If you’re looking for brand-new or five star you’re in the wrong place but with a family with young children it’s just great!

Positive points: The Natah Bale is a hidden gem in south Sanur. The location was amazing- lots of restaurants/shopping etc within walking distance. Beautiful villas with lots of space and privacy, and a lovely shared pool. The staff were very helpful and Andy responded quickly to any questions we had. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Review: PRO:nBathroom is clean and shiny: sink, bathtub, toilet are all good. Shower head is old though.nKoi pool/structure of the unit is cool, poor turtle in that tiny pool though...nnCONS:nLoud music 24/7 from across the street bar/clubnNo privacy: kitchen/lounge are located right in front of public pool and there is nothing in between. Seriously, they don't show it on pictures, but the distance between your kitch/lounge and public pool is about 5-10 meters depending on the villa and there is no wall/fence or anything. People walk by your kitchen and see you eating there. You wanna relax in the lounge? Well, some old couple and few children are splashing and chatting right next to your lounge and sometimes they would look at you as well since you are so close. The wall around the unit that you can see on the pictures is from the other side (street side), but the inside of hotel is basically shared by everyone - like a communal living.nOnly please for a privacy is your bedroom that actually has walls and bathroom. You have to close curtains though - otherwise everyone sees you perfectly fine, and closed curtains make room dark. You cannot open curtains in the morning until fully dressed, otherwise everyone can see you naked in your own room because of big windows.nSo it's always dark in the bedroom, unless you are ok to be seen.nBed linen STINKS! It wasn't dried completely before put on the bed.nNo slippers/ bath robenBed lights don't go off. Thats it. you cannot turn them off unless screw out the bulb.nLeakng aircon... water puddle in the morning underneath it.nSmall pebbles in shower are hurtful to stand on.nOld, misshapen mattress nStaff comes in the room several times a day while we're away - although we didn't ask for a clean service or anything. Feels so creepy when your things are moved when you re back from the city.nnThis is a horrible, horrible place! Avoid at all cost.

Positive points: This was probably the most enjoyable place we have ever stayed especially for the value. So central to everything you need and only 5min walk to beach, yet the grounds are so private with only 5 villas and the pool is right in front of them. The grounds are so well kept, the staff so lovely and the house keeping 5stars. It’s a teeny run down after Covid but honestly it did not take away from the 10/10 experience. We had our 2.5yo toddler and was very family friendly though it could be a perfect Romantic place for a couple or friends or even a place for a private wedding! We feel like this space has made our holiday to bali so much better and we hope to be back. BEST PLACE TO STAY IN SANUR!
