Positive points:
We initially booked a bedroom. The kind owner recommended us to try the bungalow with additional fees. After visiting the bungalow we completely agreed to upgrade, Best idea ever. The bungalow is really worth it, it was a wonderful stay, the best so far for the last 2 weeks on a motobike road trip from Ban Gioc to Ha Giang. Beds are perfect, mosquito net, fan, private bathroom, view on mountains with a little lake in front of the bungalow.
Dinner prepared by the cook of the house, it was amazing from the beginning to the end. 10/10 would recommend and go back here.
Review: A true taste of rural family life. Loved it
Positive points: We were completing the Ha Giang loop by motorbike and booked this homestay last minute. We were given a lovely dinner and sampled many local dishes. The room was clean and fantastic view at the back. Really nice family run this homestay and made us feel very welcome.
Negative points: Note there was no heating in the room and we came during winter so it was a little chilly!
Positive points: Nice
Positive points:
The view is amazing, the family extremely Nice and welcoming, if you like chess you Light have interesting games with the kid.
The dinner was delicous and the dorm comfortable.
Thank you so much for this stay 😀
Positive points: The homestay is very authentic, located in the beautiful nam dam village in quan ba. The backyard was a beautiful farm. The rain adds more beauty to the scenery.
Negative points: No special care done about the acoustics but it's ok
Positive points: Friendly staff
Negative points: Very cold during the night. Dark room with holes in the wall.
Positive points: Nice location with great countryside views. Great dinner
Negative points: Poor drainage for the wash basin. Waste from the basin is led by a tube that falls short of the drain pipe. As a result, the bathroom floor gets wet. This needs to be corrected
Positive points:
- You get to truly experience the everyday life of the Dao tribe. For instance, how they collect firewood to start fire in winter nights. It’s also not everyday occurrence that you encounter a heartwarming scene of a Dao family taking care of a newborn.
- Responsive and polite host, allowing us to have a quiet stay.
Negative points:
- Poor wifi from the room.
- It gets cold in winter due to the building materials, but you truly experience how the locals adapt to the harsh weather conditions.
- The homestay was quite a distance from main road, best accessed on motorbike.
Positive points:
Enjoyed staying with the locals.
Nice meal.
Rustic style was fantastic.
Negative points: No hot water in the morning.
Positive points: Really nice idyllic place. Simple room, but everything you need.
Negative points:
Our beds were not very clean when we arrived. There was mice poop on it.
Wouldn’t recommend having dinner at the place. The charged us more for the dinner than we payed for whole stay including breakfast. Makes you feel a little bit screwed.
