Review: a full day with no power is long and hot ! The staff and friends speak no English and seem to be living in the corridor to the guests rooms. You have to step over their lunch to get to your room ...

Review: The fridge was not clean and there were ants everywhere. It was more like a home stay than a hotel so I feel like it’s false advertising. The bed was big and comfy and the water in the shower was very hot so that was nice.
Positive points: The only good thing about this place is its location: just a couple of minutes's walk from the pier (in case you are taking the boat to Cambodia).
Negative points: 1. This homestay overcharged me. When I arrived, I said immediately that I have a booking from Booking.com. And I said it via Google Translate, so there was no problem in understanding due to lack of English skills. Having booked from the laptop and not having printed out or saved the confirmation on my phone, I asked the employee to remind me how much I should pay. She said “250.000 dong”. So I paid. Later that day, I double-checked my booking: it turned out that I had to be charged 219.000 dong. So, it wasn’t a mistake due to a misunderstanding: she overcharged me on purpose, hoping I won’t notice. The difference was refunded eventually, though. 2. The owners of this homestay are noisy. They had dinner at 9 pm, and one woman was shouted throughout the dinner. Crazy! 3. There was an unpleasant hissing noise at night, at a certain pitch disturbing to the human ear. I failed to identify where it was coming from. But only when I switched off both the AC and the fridge did it go away. Meaning I had to spend the night without an AC. Neeedless to say, given the shouting and the noise / lack of AC, I had a terrible night. 4. There is no reception. There is just a chair, and an old woman was sitting there when I arrived. However, after overcharging me, she disappeared, and no employees were seen again that day. Clever trick! 5. There are two big dogs in the lane where the homestay is. One of them runs around and barks at customers. The other one apparently lives at the homestay.

Positive points: Location. Price. Staff. Clean. Room size. . Rooms now have electric kettle🙂
Negative points: A full bed size sheet would be nice. But for the price I can go without.
Review: Basic rooms but large and clean. If want tea kettle just ask. Fridge in every room. Just a blanket (no cover sheet) but was fine for me. Very friendly staff. The son is great help and speaks English . A block from Fast ferry and river. Many cafes! Another good stay here
Positive points: Read past reviews and was concerned. However the place was great. Very quiet. Came with fridge. A kettle if you ask. Excellent hot water and pressure. Room/bathroom was clean. A/C worked fine and rotating ceiling fan quiet. Gate closed but not locked at night. Woman only took photo of passport . She may be to the point but she doesn't bite 🙂. She even offered me fruit ! Still napkins for toilet paper and a small blanket on the bed. But for 250k a block from river, I'll deal with that .

Negative points: Poor customer service! Stayed 2 nights: ac was broken so we were moved to another room. Host wanted us to move us back for the 2nd night
Positive points: Spacious room great location. A great place to get a night sleep before catching the ferry to Phnom Penh.
Negative points: when we said we didn’t want to move again, charged us more for the room (b/c it was bigger than we booked). No soap. Leaky faucet, poor wifi. Rented a moto that broke down- still charged full price. Little ants in the bed and one small blanket for 2 people in a king bed. Lesson: you get what you pay for.
