Positive points: They were so kind and let us use their house as our own! The room was nice and in a good location, close to the downtown and not too far from clinics, motorcycle rentals, and the mountain. They also rent masks. nBreakfast was delicious!

Positive points: Really liked the nice neighborhood and the size of the homestay- high ceilings and spacious social area felt like a comfortable family home.nOur host set up our trekking tour for us with a great guide- everything included- which was so easy, and we had great laundry service done. Water, tea and coffee available to self-serve and beer was available for purchase- nice details!

Positive points: I liked absolutely everything. This homestay is one of the cleanest I have stayed at in my two month trip to Indonesia. The atmosphere is very relaxing, the place looks new and well cared for. The wifi was working perfectly, just like the AC. The room smelled good. It is also very quiet, so I slept like a baby. I stayed in the twin room.. But most of all, the owners, Annie indah and her husband Johannes are the most caring, helpful and friendly people ever! They took good care of me since the moment I arrived by giving me all sort of advice and even helped me book the train ticket! They even invited me for a tea with freshly baked cake. And the breakfast is delicious, a full meal. Annie Indah is a great cook. I really felt at home! If you are in Banyuwangi don't miss the opportunity to stay at this place!

Review: I enjoy at Mocca guest house, the bathroom is clean, and the hosts are kind and easygoing.

Positive points: We love how the staff treated us, especially the owner, Annie. She was responsive to all our questions. We were very lucky that Kawah Ijen reopened the day of our stay and I first heard the confirmation from Annie. The location is already near from the port so if you will be going to Bali after staying at Bayuwanggi this is a good option. The hostel also arranged the Ijen tour for us. We will surely stay here again if ever we comeback.

Review: We stayed 2 nights at mocca. It was such a pleasant time there and also the owner and staff was jolly and cherful. Have good laugh talking with them. Living area and common kitchen was really very clean. Thanks for your great hospitality.

Positive points: Nice room, clean, air conditioning, nice location in the city but a little hard to find because google and booking adress is not good, it leads to other side of the road. But we asked locals and they told us where to go. Nice women working there, breakfast was pretty simple - pancake and fruit.. Good basic room to stay at for visiting Banyuwangi or going to Ijen (which is closed now).

Review: This simple, clean, new guesthouse exceeded our expectations. The hosts were very friendly and helpful but also let us have our space and privacy. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was simple but nice. Cold shower, but that seems to be standard. It was a perfect place for R&R before and after our Mt. Ijen trek.

Positive points: Annie was really friendly and helped us with a driver for our onward trip to Bali which was really cheap compared to others.nThe guesthouse is in a nice location although a little difficult to find for the Grab driver we used from the train station.

Positive points: The price has doubled compared of few years ago, not anymore a great deal but still affordable... I think now that the price is higher, you should give the possibility to guests to prepay through the platform by credit card. Foreign backpackers often have limited cash availability and sometimes can be a problem

Positive points: Special thanks to the owner, many thanks Ibu. Definitely would be back there again. Located in a housing of Banyuwangi kota, which is near by Banyuwangi kota train station and convenient location too. Took about 5-8 minutes drive from station itself and easy way to go Ketapang area. Take a local uber to take you to Ketapang harbour if you would like to cross by ferry ship to Bali. Clean and neat place, comfort room and absolutely friendly owner, you will find a new local's life experience there. I arrived in midnight time and the staff was happy to help, they were really accomodate us. Amazing banyuwangi

Positive points: Very friendly staff which helps you in by any problem. Offers also pick up services from the Harbour and tours to the Ijen. Also the breakfast was very good.
