A great place to stay, big room with a balcony.
The owner was really helpful & arranged bike hire & also helped with our onward bus trip.
A fantastic stay.
Positive points: We were stranded late in the day due to heavy road widening work on the way to our chosen destination, Sin Suối Hồ, and it was a nice to find an alternative at Minh Sơn Hotel. It's off the main road, so quiet. Few or no other guests at the place gave it all to ourselves.
Negative points: Forgot to check about a non-smoking room and an elderly woman fellow traveller with allergies or sensitivities was put off by the lingering stench of tobacco smoke in the room she and her husband stayed in. We didn't bother to ask for a room change, so no aspersion on the property

Review: We returned to this hotel for the second time in a week, on our way home. We were very happy with every aspect of our stay and would heartily recommend it to anyone who finds themselves in the hidden gem that is Lai Châu City.
Review: We stayed just one night in transit, but the staff were helpful and generous, the room was clean and cosy, well heated for winter and quiet, just what we wanted.
