Review: We were here for 2ne1 concert and the hotel’s location is perfect for an event at Secc. Besides the location, we appreciate staff’s friendliness and helpfulness, especially F&B staff for accommodating our dietary requirements.

Review: Only they need to be liberal in providing water bottles for free as they act strict if asked for more bottles as if it is only 350 ml per bottle. In hindu culture, it is said water is free for All as it belongs to the nature and can be offered to God by anyone so taxing the water is not right at all, it is a Kill.....

Positive points: Grate location if you participate in local affairs. Pool on roof and gym were ok.

Review: I had a very good experience staying at Merple Crystal Palace. Here’s a breakdown of what stood out:

Location:
The hotel is very close to Crescent Lake Park, making daily jogging convenient. District 7 is quiet and accessible via Grab rides, with nearby options for dining, shopping, and atm withdrawals (just outside the hotel). There's also a coffee shop beside it where you can work. Crescent Mall, for instance, is nearby and often has good deals during sales periods like Black Friday. The mall also has a small money exchange stall, which offers decent rates.

Food:
The food around the area is affordable and good. The hotel food is reasonably priced and even better than most (other hotel restaurants of similar price) I’ve tried. Their pho is great and is even priced similarly to the other Pho stalls you'll see outside. The breakfast offers enough variety, including dim sum, noodles, rice, meats, sausages, salad, bread, cakes, and drinks like juice and coffee. It may not match the selection of hotels in Hong Kong, Thailand, or Taiwan, but it gets the job done.

Room:
The room is spacious, with functional features like an air conditioner that works well, a desk console for light controls, and a large table for work. There’s also a fridge, daily free water and coffee, a well-lit cabinet, and a valet stand for clothes and shoes. The TV is large and has enough channels, though it lacks streaming services. The bed is firm but not uncomfortable, and the pillows and towels are clean and soft. The bathroom is clean, has good water pressure, and has hot and cold working options.

Facilities:
The hotel provides all the basics—adequate lighting, plenty of power outlets, and a functional shower. The room design is straightforward and practical.

Staff:
The staff are professional, respect privacy, and are helpful when needed.

Overall:
The hotel is practical for anyone looking for a good location near jogging areas and peaceful surroundings. The amenities are functional, and the food is good for the price. I would stay here again.
