Review: We had a fantastic stay at Lua Pu Luong, all of the staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel is really beautiful with stunning views over the Vietnamese countryside. Lua gave us some very helpful recommendations of what to do, including a 22 km hike around the valleys to visit some very impressive caves. The area is not very touristy so is a great place to see real Vietnamese rural life. The food at the hotel was delicious and it was a very relaxing place.
There wasn't a card machine so bring cash or be prepared to pay by bank transfer.

Positive points: The place is amazing and the bungalows are cool and very clean. Lua and her staff took care of us with everything that we needed. One of the best places in Vietnam so far.

Chị chủ và nhân viên vô cùng thân thiện, mọi đồ dùng trong phòng đều nhỏ gọn chỉn chu. Nếu ai muốn gần thiên nhiên thì chắc chắn nên chọn nghỉ tại Lụa Puluong 1 lần nhé ạ.
Chỗ ở cạnh 1 con suối nên đêm ngủ nghe cả tiếng suối luôn.

Positive points: We 100% recommend both visiting Pu Luong and staying at Lua's. The area is very beautiful and (as yet) unspoiled by mass tourism. Lua's is a great combination of comfort, functionality and local style. A perfect place to chill out or use as a base for exploring. Food and service is top notch. Our best experience in Vietnam so far.

Positive points: This place is absolute heaven! The staff and owner Lua are so so kind and gentle. As soon as we arrived we felt so peaceful and relaxed. The view is just wonderful overlooking the paddy fields. Plus, the pool and deck area are so nice for relaxing! We stayed in the bungalow and it was so beautifully decorated and every detail was thoughtful. The food was also delicious (highly recommend the spring rolls and beef pho) & we loved all the pottery too. You can do yoga in the top room overlooking the paddy fields, plus they can run you a lovely herbal hot bath in the evening. It’s also a short walk to some of the best scenery in Pu Luông. If you don’t want to walk, you can rent a motorbike from them to explore the area. Next time we will stay longer :)

Positive points: Stunning little retreat nestled in the rice fields. I’m torn between keeping the place a secret so that it never changes and telling everyone about it - as it is absolutely beautiful and people should experience the beauty of Pu Luong and Lua’s hospitality.
The rooms, the pool, the food, the staff, Lua, all the little details - everything truly is exceptional.
