Positive points: suuuuper nice Balinese house with beautiful pool, tonnes of plants, great vibe and all what I needed as room (including a fridge!)

Review: I slept one night here. In the middle of everything but not too noisy because it's set back from the street. Lots of shops and cafes and restaurants just steps away. Not the cleanest, but doable in a pinch for nights rest

Positive points: Fantastic location and staff extremely friendly. Loved that you could access a kitchen to cook and access to free drinking water. The pool was lovely to cool off in after a day at the beach. Overall a quiet comfortable stay.

Negative points: Cleaning standards were below average and bedding supplied sheets, towels and bed quilt not up to standard. Old and very worn and stained.rnThe room I was in the bathroom had not been renovated and water pressure was extremely poor although hot enough. The the toilet lid was moldy and toilet very old. The cleaning staff only cleaned and sanitized upon request and cleaning standards in the room was minimal.rnUnfortunately, with my experience as a long term slow traveler many hotels and home-stays are not value for money as the locals try to keep up with the demands of reopening after COVID.

Review: Sheets were clean and bathroom clean. The owner/manager was very kind to change my dates that Agoda wouldn’t let me change and wouldn’t return my money for. The owner just allowed me to stay on the correct dates. I try my best not to book on Agoda anymore. Their UI design is setup to book wrong dates and then they do not let you change them even within 5 seconds of booking - right after showing you finally the dates their app inputs in.

Review: I have stayed at Lestari a number of times. It seems to be declining even given the cost. The air conditioner did not work, the room seemed very tired and the bathrooms are now substandard. I don't mind budget stays, but if they provide a level of appointment, ie air conditioners or TVs then I expect them to work. I won't stay there again.rnrnProbably still ok for youngsters with lower expectations.
