Positive points: Fairly clean, with a good A/C and hot shower.
Negative points: The hotel is located in Chinatown near a building that is attracting birds to make bird's nest soup. Loudspeakers are playing the sound of a flock of birds ALL DAY AND NIGHT. It's impossible to sleep.
Positive points: Location was right near what we wanted to do. Clean.
Negative points: No choice for breakfast.
Review: Next day i left. Ridiculous, better, friendlier place down the road. They use booking internet sites for free marketing.
Positive points: Great location in the heart of the city. Food nearby. Offered free breakfast.
Negative points: A/C didn’t really work & room was very hot. The staff heavily pressured booking a tour for Tana Toraja that would have cost 200+ dollars!!! The actual cost of guides and such is about $10 per day if you book in the town itself. They also refused to buy us bus tickets and couldn’t provide info to us on the correct bus terminal to buy them ourselves. instead they gave us the phone number of the same tour operator who tried to sell us the scam $200 tour. he overcharged us for the bus by 100k rupiah per person. The rooms here are fine but there are WAY better options in Makassar and places who won’t try to scam you.
Review: Tôi đã ở đây hai đêm. Căn phòng cơ bản nhưng sạch sẽ. Máy lạnh hoạt động tốt và vòi sen có áp lực nước tốt. Bữa sáng cơ bản. Mỗi sáng đều có người xung quanh có thể giúp bạn tổ chức các chuyến tham quan nếu bạn quan tâm.
