Koreana Hotel

Review: We chose this hotel because of great reviews and reasonable price. However we were quite disappointed. nnGreat location, staff is courteous and beds are comfortable but the rooms are unrenovated with upholstery stains on chairs and sofas, showers that don’t drain properly (our bathroom flooded), and rooms that smell like sewage (we asked to change rooms and they did). nnThe breakfast buffet is not worth the price, just ok. Would not stay here again. nn

Review: Koreana is located close to tourist attractions, walkable to palaces, 5 mins walk to several train stations, next door to Nice2CU. Reception staff needs to be more cheerful and welcoming. Rooms are relatively big but dated furnishing are yesteryears carpets are 70’s. Baths are a bit of a hazard but water temperature and pressure are OK. BYO toiletries, coffee, tea & beverages, and limited 2 bottles of water. Not flexible in marketing and business development.nNice but if they continue not being generous in offerings, other hotels may seem more attractive.nOverall, a comfortable stay and conveniently located, price is competitive,

Review: Even the hotel bit old, the room is clean. Make sure you bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. Like the location. Breakfast is ok but dont expect much. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely book here again if I plan to visit KR.

Review: Great hotel with fantastic gym equipment. Hoist equipment is very expensive and didn’t expect to see it in a hotel gym. nnOnly gripe was extremely moody, very serious and none smiling female front desk staff. I would also ensure the very slim female front desk staff are given a uniform that actually fits, looks like a 15 stone guys uniform on a 8 stone lady, not professional in the slightest. Poor girl, no wonder she didn’t look happy 😟nnOne other thing was a ceiling light that lit up the room all night, impossible to turn off completely.nnOverall it’s a good hotel, but moody female staff is definitely a place to improve on. It’s actually a common thing I’ve found in Korea to be honest.

Positive points: - location is near public transport, tourist attractions (only walking distance to famous palaces), and lots of restos and convenience stores aroundn- room is spacious enough for family of 5 (2 adults, 3kids)n- staff are accommodating (they allowed us to check in w/out additional charges even though the room we booked is for 4pax only and we are a family of 5)n- we were not able to try their restaurant coz we were always out but one of the guests said the food was quite goodn- they clean the room everyday

Review: Stayed here for a few nights. Prompt response from staffs when needed. Nicely renovated old hotel. Can be noisy from the demonstrators just out the building.

Positive points: Location was top notch, only a 5 min walk to the subway station + they have a convenience store right beside the hotel! They have a Korean version of a Japanese toilet 😍 + shower was easy to transition from hot to cold and mix to make it warm. Beds were so comfy too! Great for my parents as well

Review: Koreana hotel has bigger deluxe rooms with 30+square vs the 20+square in Myeonggdong area. Great bed and pillows, spacious twin beds also. nnLocation is superb! I did not want the busy, narrow streets of Myeongdong. Koreana hotel is walkable from the Gyeongbukgong Palace and the hanbok rental places, the Insadong culture street, museums, art cafes. If shopping is your mission, go to Myeongdong hotels, if culture, arts and a good view, stay in Koreana.
