Review: The only good thing about this place is the location — close to eateries, a mall, and not too far from the train station. Other than that, it’s just a basic old-school hotel. Cleanliness was questionable — there were still hairs and dirt on the floor when we checked in, and the sink and bathroom edges had stubborn stains. The staff weren’t particularly helpful either, though to be fair, I found that to be a general trend around Malang.
Positive points: The rooms were spacious and there was daily room cleaning with free bottles of water. They also let us check in 1 hour earlier which we really appreciated because we had taken an overnight train
Negative points: One of the rooms was quite smelly and both bathrooms (in our 2 rooms) smelled poorly. There was quite a lot of dust around the room and some beddings had holes. The air-conditioning did not function properly in one of the rooms and the WiFi was poor overall. It was a bit noisy as well

Positive points: The staff was very kind and welcoming, and the rooms were cleaned daily, which we appreciated.
Negative points: There were ants in the room, which was a bit unpleasant. After using insect spray, the situation improved somewhat, but it was still a bit of an issue.
Review: The hotel is very old school, but I think the relation price-quality is pretty accurate.
Positive points: The Location is near Jalan Idjen Boulevard. Near Ranch Market, Magurame Udon Restaurant. Very-very strategic.
Negative points: There's no breakfast.

Negative points: The ground floor room had its only window facing the inside hallway, so all people coming into the hotel walked in front of it. Quite loud

Positive points: Excellent.nThe room and washroom was big, neat and clean.nThe hotel arranged the tour to Tumpak sewu waterfall.nThe location is very good near the shopping mall.

Positive points: Great location and friendly staff. Ideal for a quick stopover prior heading to Bromo. Beds and sleeping area of the room in very good condition.
Negative points: Bathroom could use some work. Due to a lack of a proper window, there were quite some ants and insects in there, also the temperature got very hot so we had to make sure the door was closed at all times.
