Katala Villa

Review: Nice tidy accommodation. I got sick during the last few days of our stay and the Villa was comfortable and private for me during this time. nMy only real bug bear was the sliding doors to the bathrooms which consistently slammed - maybe runners might mitigate this? n

Positive points: Bed was really comfortable. Plenty of room. Breakfast was good.

Review: The staffs are very helpful and friendly. The room is big, king bed is very comfortable, however there’s a lot of mosquitos in the room, they provided an electric repellent but it doesn’t really do much. Shower is outdoor which I found it uncomfortable.

Positive points: The staff, peaceful location, lots of green, nice pool, spacious rooms

Review: The gardens and surrounding is beautiful and well maintained. But the actual villa wasn’t good. There was drywall all over the floor from cracking. The bed and pillows were horrendous and old, even when asked for different pillows. I was given very old, stale and hard pillow. Everything in the villa was dated and not looked after. I really wanted to love the his place, but couldn’t even get a a good night sleep which is not what you want for a relaxing holiday. nnThe pool looks lovely, but water was not great either. nnThe location is okay, you have walk at least 10 mins down alleys to get anywhere.

Positive points: The location is very convenient in a quiet part of Sanur and the staff is great. The garden is quite nice for a small hotel.

Review: We had very great time in the villa . Located in the hearth of Sanur between 2 beautiful breach . Staff maintain clean the villa daily . nMaybe a paint here and there and a small update is required , however we have noted that the propriety was already busy preparing for some maintenance . Recommended

Positive points: One of the nicest places we have ever stayed! Our private villa, kitchen, lounge area and pool were over the top!rnThe staff even came to our villa to make or deliver breakfast every morning :-)

Review: A little walk to main area and beach. A simple breakfast not much choice. Beautiful room and staff.

Positive points: The small number of units and low amount of guests meant we could get a seat at breakfast and there was always lounges available pool side. It was in a quiet location with a 5 minute walk to the main shopping and dining area. 15 minutes walk to the beach.

Review: The Katala Villa was a fantastic introduction to Bali. The staff were friendly, the food was great and the villa was attended daily. The size of the pool at our villa was surprisingly large and was cleaned every day. Easy walk to Sanur's main road where there was a great range of restaurants. Highly recommend

Review: Unfortunately the toilet in our room got blocked twice and when reported no apology was provided, instead the staff blamed us of throwing too much toilet paper. Otherwise, the staff were amazing except this issue. The pool deck requires bit of a maintenance.

Positive points: Very welcoming and helpful staff. Lovely and quiet villas only a few minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Sanur. Our room was very spacious and comfortable.

Review: I stayed for 5 nights at one of the Katala suites. On arrival the entrance looks rather quiet and dark but once you go through the front door to the main centre of the villa, it’s a different place altogether. I tried to get a pool villa during my stay but none was available. So I was ready to settle in on a suite thinking it’s a room only. To my pleasant surprise the suites are actually really spacious and the main pool is usually empty so I was happy with what I got. Location is great. Everything is walkable. Travelling by myself and first time in Sanur, but I felt at ease walking around by myself. Glad I chose to stay at Sanur. I’ve been to Bali many times but have usually based myself in Seminyak.

Positive points: The room was a decent size for a family of 3. It’s a ground floor room with a bath attached.

Review: My friend and I just loved this place, beautiful, peaceful place with plenty of flowers, water sources, fishes,perfect size, convenient location. The rooms where spacious and absolutely beautiful. Matéo was a very warm thoughtful host and the staff so nice. If we return to Samir, it will be there again.

Positive points: Very good central location in Sanur, not far to the beach.
