Review: The beach is so beautiful. Must try the karma spa in hotel,the view is stunning.

Negative points: I never write reviews actually but felt it wasrnImportant to do so this timernMy two activities were cancelled..it was raining so nobody’s fault but they made me wait multiple times for it and cancelled last minute. An event planner said she would contact me later and never did rnI misunderstood the stipend per day, probably language barrier miscommunication but considering they did not try to correct this mistake
Review: The staff & accommodation was amazing few people made our stay extra special. Special callout for Herman & Angara at the reception for making our villa upgrade and arrangement for us to fully enjoy our stay. The rooms are amazingly big and well maintained. nnRecommendation for improvement: they need to have a new restaurant for breakfast with bigger buffet spread. The scale of their accommodation doesn’t match with the mini spread they have. Bigger breakfast and a better chef. Food was not at all impressive. Even the basic nasi goreng and mee goreng tasted poorly. We opted for lunch & dinners to nearby hotel resorts… nnOther than that Karma have the best resort staff to make anyone’s stay fabulous. nnThank you Karma team!
Positive points: Surrounded by beautiful nature, down the cliff welcomes u with clean private beach. Private and luxurious one of a kind place in Bali.

Negative points: The room service food was delicious but the breakfast ala carte food was clearly downgraded although they claimed that it was from the same kitchen.nnVilla was beautiful though we had a glitch of blackout in the main bedroom but the engineers were fast to respond and fix it.

Positive points: The facilities are on a 5 stars-level as expected.
Negative points: At the reservation, I was not sure if the villa would be able accommodate three persons, since the description indicated a two persons villa. So I paid for an extra bed.nn Upon arrival there was a sofa-bed in the living room, which would be more than enough to facilitate a 9 year old. I found the extra bed in front of the closet and the mirror and nearly blocking the way to the bathroom. I requested to remove the extra bed since it was redundant and made the space cramped.nnI probably misunderstood since in the description of the facilities did indicate a sofa bed. But my point is, if the villa can accommodate 4 persons (including the sofa bed) why upsell the extra bed and promote the villa as a two-persons accommodation. And even if a customer purchase an extra bed, it would be proof of good service to inform the client that it is not necessary.nnAnother bad experience, is while ordering food at the beach restaurant, my son changed his mind and ordered something else. The initial ordering stayed. The waiter did repeat the order (so it is obviously still my mistake for not checking the right order), but he could have mentioned that 4 meals and the portions of the meals are to much for two and a half persons. nnAt the breakfast we had the option to select a la carte breakfast besides the breakfast buffet. The first morning we already filled our appetite with the buffet breakfast since the order came longer than 15 minutes later. The same happened the second day while also bringing the wrong order for me.nnAIthough professionally set-up and very nice staff, I would appreciate a more human approach and less commercial approach.
Review: The location is fantastic with amazing view. The Karma beach is beautiful and we enjoyed it so much, spent the whole day on the beach. The spa is lovely. Worth the money.nnHowever the rooms was a bit outdated. Initially we were upgraded to 3 bedroom villa which was unnecessary as it is only us and 1 child, and the room have no access buggy as the road under maintainance. The next day we were given our 1 bedroom with construction infront of it and far from everything with no buggy access.A bit upset as we paid quite a lot to be staying in front of construction. nnWe wanted a refund but they give us another upgraded to 3 bedroom villa.The second villa was also outdated but we are too tired and hungry as the changing villa taking to much time.nnDuring our stay, the tram that goes to the beach was under maintainance. A dissapointment as the only reason i booked there for their direct access to the beach with tram. We were not informed about this. Only got to know once we reach the resort. nTo go to the beach,we have to take a ride and do a little bit hiking with the stairs which is inconvinient to bring the small kid. nnWe felt that we can actually stay at other better options villa and services with the same price since we still have to go normally like the non in guest to the beach.n

Review: Have been staying here several times already. Love the private beach and spa. This round, was very lucky to get upgraded to a bigger villa. Thank you for making our trip so memorable.
Positive points: Beautiful facilities and views, friendly staff, good overall stay a few bad things happened which will be mentioned, nWe visited for our honeymoon and they gifted us with a free upgrade to a three bedroom villa with a pool instead of a 1 bedroom villa with a pool which is quite appreciated.
Negative points: - My booking was breakfast including, however we were surprise that we cannot use the buffet and we were limited to one order of breakfast each as the buffet is for members only which is quite weird and doesn’t make sense since my booking is including breakfast.n- Received the villa with multiple spots on bed sheets and hair in floors, asked them to re-clean the room which they did but did not remove the hair or change the sheet even though we asked to do so specifically, had to request a 3rd cleaning and watch the guy to change the sheets and show him the collected hair in the floor to clean.n- they have a beautiful beach, went there and was surprised that there is no sun-beds or chairs or any sort of appropriate way of enjoying the beach because we didn’t have a reservation, even though reception informed us that this beach is private and for hotel residents, plus there was quite a few sun-beds free, had to basically insist that those sun beds are free and we are hotel residents and want them, then they allowed us to use them.
Review: Good staff, very friendly, all very helpful and good
Positive points: The cottage was spacious and the beach scenery from the cliff was astonishing!
Negative points: Kinda disappointing having 1 menu only as our breakfast as 'regular' guest while seeing other 'members' having buffet, back and forth passing our table. I wouldn't choose this resort, if I knew there would be a different treatment toward the guest. If they wanted to differentiate the guest, better they separated the venue as well.
