Review: The Holiday Inn Express Seoul Hongdae by IHG is located in an extremely convenient location in Hongdae, just right next to the exit 5 of Hongik University station! It was also a great deal with breakfast included! Overall, we enjoyed the stay here!

Positive points: Location is super easy yo go to hotel via train from airport

Review: Love the location. So easy to get using the Arex all stop train. N there’s also the bag check in service at the hotel. A bit pricey, but worth the price. The lift can be improved. A bit slow and crowded. Great service and can store luggage even when I needed to go for day trip to Busan

Positive points: The breakfast and lunch were excellent. We wish it would have been opened for an evening meal.

Review: As I got an online meeting at noon, staff were helpful and assisted me for a late check out until I have ciompleted the online meeting in my room.nnThere were various choice for breakfast. Salad, yoghurt, hot rice and soup. As many ppl wanted coffee, if there could be more coffee machines, it would be great not to have queue ( some guests pressed twice for a double expressi) during breakfast hours. Love to stay again if there would be early bird discounts.

Positive points: Excellent location and just next to MRT exit 5. Convenient store is around the corner and near shopping street with lots of restaurants around.

Review: This is a very good location especially for 1st timer to travel to Korea. The air port train is just downstair.

Positive points: Have stayed here before last year and returned because of the good experience from the previous trip! The hotel is conveniently located near to Hongik University station (Exit 5) and the AREX station, some of the other subway exits are not that far off too (Exits 4 and 7). Exit 4 is useful on rainy days as it connects to the hotel directly with shelter. There is also a lift near AK Plaza which you can use if you are travelling with luggages and prefer not to use the escalator. For breakfast, you can sample delicious food (fried rice, fried udon, noodles, bread, cereal, etc.). International plug sockets were readily available so there was no need to use any travel adaptor. CU is located right below in case you feel peckish and need a late night snack.

Review: 2nd stay here, great location and much convenience with breakfast buffet included. Value for money compared to other stays in Seoul.nnPossible improvement for bathroom facilities. Encountered some problems with the bidet system that was not completely resolved. During my first stay, a fellow traveller in another room had similar issues as well. nnOtherwise, good stay at a convenient location with decent amenities.

Positive points: This hotel will exceed your expectations. For starters, it is close to everything. There's even a designated subway exit that is next to the building. rnrnThe staff was super friendly and helpful. The cleaning ladies were genuinely kind. They always greeted me with a warm welcome, bringing a cheerful start to my day. rnrnThe breakfast buffet alone was great. The foods were high quality. There was a wide array of cuisines from western (eggs and bacon) to eastern (ex. mapao tofu to seaweed soup).rnrnThe room was modern and the bed was comfortable. The view from my window was great.

Review: I love the location of the hotel which is so near to the train station. The breakfast was just average but it is right smack in the middle of Hongdae.

Review: Conveniently located near Exit 5 of Hongik University Station, with easy access to the all stops airport train. Offers a free breakfast featuring a wide variety of both local and Western dishes. Slightly farther when traveling via Subway Line 2.
