Review: Owners are very friendly and helpful, easy access to all places

Positive points: The homestay is very well set up and tastefully decorated. Our room was large with ensuite bathroom and aircon. The bed was good, shower water hot, and aircon cold. A good breakfast is available (but not free). The hosts were wonderful and helped us book a city tour. The location is right downtown with easy reach of all downtown and waterfront activities. Easy walk to several restaurants. It is 10 steps to the end of the street, and Grab drivers found us easily.

Review: We really enjoyed the accommodation itself, but we could barely get any sleep. The windows are not soundproof at all and you hear the traffic and the parking staff's whistlers starting at 4:30 to 5:30 and of course ppl talking to each other on the streets. You hear the mosque(s) calling for prayers at various day- and night times. nnI hope the team can find a way to make the room more soundproof.nnThe staff is lovely, the room is nice.nnThe bathroom should be slightly renovated (dropping shower, loose water tap).

Positive points: Our stay here was fabulous!!! The Homestay is immaculately clean and very comfortable. María was wonderful. She organized everything for us. Her driver Erwin was great. He picked us up at the airport at 3.30am. We did a day tour with him to the fish market, Rammang Rammang and Leang Leang. María also organized our shared car to Bara beach. María even packed us a little bag with water and biscuits for the journey. So lovely!!!The location was great aswell!!! Highly recommend!

Review: We stayed here for two nights at the beginning of our Sulawesi trip and one night at the end. Ge Jacmart was so welcoming and provided a spotless room with a great shower, not always a sure thing in Sulawesi! Also very close to Losari which is a fun area in the evening.

Positive points: The owner helped a lot with the planning for visiting around South Sulawesi. She went out of her way to book drivers, arrange day trips, and recommend places to stay on longer trips. Very helpful.

Review: Building looks great. Great location. Very friendly and professional staff. Good breakfast. They allowed me early check in, which was much appreciated. (My only reservation, same for all of Indonesia: the Bed linen could be cleaner.)

Positive points: We had a nice stay with Marlah and her family. She helped us with everything we needed like renting scooter, laundry services and taxi. Also the homestay is located in a very good location surrounded by good choices to eat and near a boulevard, so you can go and see the sunset :) the house was very lovely and tidy, and also our room was big enough. And lastly, the breakie was so good! Thanks for all!

Review: During my little jaunt in Makassar, I was satisfied with how Ge JacMart treated the guests staying there. The room is clean and spacious, and the facility is worth the money, even without hot water option. nThe owner, Mrs. Marla, is such a pleasant lady and very helpful to all the guests. If you are looking for a place that isn't noisy or too close to the main road without getting shady recommendations, this would be a perfect option for you.

Positive points: Comfortable bedroom with AC and private bathroom. Marlah and the staff are super welcoming, she helped me a lot when I had a tuk-tuk accident and hurt my knee. The breakfast is delicious.
