Review: Home stay is okay 6.5/10
Negative points: The windows in the room don't open, there is just the glass to look through. So no possible to get some fresh air in the room, only AC or fan. But that's typical for Vietnam.

We book the room with window but staff gives room without window.
After feedback, the owner refunded back the differences. However we wanted room with window, not the little refund money.

Positive points: We loved our stay here! The staff was very helpful and spoke good English. It is in a great location to the main town and we were able to rent a scooter.
Negative points: It would have been good to have had a window. Also, the bed was quite hard. Other than that it was great!

Positive points: Located in the centre of Con Dao. It is neat and tidy. Great support from the owner to customer.
Review: The entrance to the homestay is quite small and, combined with the fact that it is built close to neighboring houses, the room's window opens directly facing the neighbor's window, only about 10cm apart. As a result, I could hardly open the window, making the room quite stuffy. Due to the small and stuffy room, the bathroom is also quite cramped and has an odor when first entering. I had to continuously turn on the bathroom light to run the ventilation fan above to reduce the smell and improve air circulation. The room is also too small to spread out my luggage on the floor, but there is a clothes hanger and storage space available. The room is clean and tidy. As it is a budget homestay, there is no refrigerator or TV. However, the staff is super nice and helpful, providing shuttle services, booking tours, and other interesting services. Thanks to the homestay, I met and booked an excellent driver named Nghia, which made my experience on the island much more enjoyable. Overall, there is nothing to complain about the homestay's services.

Negative points: Bed was bad. Very hard, my back got bad, have a muscle knot because of the bad bed
Review: The bed is not too soft and not too hard. But the water for shower is not enough, the hotel should have added a pump to increase the water flow.
Positive points: We liked pretty much everything here. The rooms were nice and clean. The location was good. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. She spoke English very well, so the communication was very easy. She helped us with various things - like recommending restaurants, helping us find a laundry or calling us taxi to the airport. We also rented scooters from here without any problem.
