Mình đi được 1 năm rồi nhg ở homestay Dao vẫn là homestay đáng nhớ nhất ở HG. Homestay nằm giữa ruộng bậc thang, đường lên hơi dốc nhg mà cảm giác đi giữa những thửa ruộng rất phê. Hôm mình đi có 1 nhà cancel căn bungalow và mình đổi sang ở căn đó, thêm chút chi phí nhg mà đáng hơn rất nhiều mng ạ. Sáng sớm có thể lên trên đỉnh núi để ngắm mặt trời mọc và biển mây trôi, rồi xuống ngồi uống cafe rất chill nha.
Gđình anh chị chủ nhiệt tình, sẵn sàng làm tour guide luôn ạ 😊
Positive points: Beautiful location but it was cloudy when we were there. Family are lovely and very welcoming
Negative points: Quite a journey to get there. If you’re driving a motorbike there, make sure to get there before dark!
Positive points:
Beautiful bungalows among the rice fields. Good price for a clean room with a stunning view on the valley.
Good food.
Negative points:
Hard to reach without a motorbike.
3 km hike from the village on a steep road.
Poor quality of service in general:
1)The place has two names: "Dao homestay" and "Hoang Su Phi bungallow". They rent the same rooms, but not at the same price. Why??
2) If you dont specifically ask for something else, they will serve you a 150k dinner without asking for your opinion. We had to negotiate to get 50k fried noodles.
3) No help was provided to get to the homestay from the village, plan hikes in the region or find a bus back to Hanoi.
Positive points: Wonderful view, perfect spot, very clean, excellent food
Negative points:
Very hard to speak with the owners. They were not helpful at all, not welcoming.
When we arrived, the hotel was full despite having a booking, we had to change to the next hotel.
Feel a bit crooked, as prices are not clear at all.
/!\ if you ask for dinner, you will be served an enormous meal for 150.000dong, you have to explicitly ask for something simpler if you want a cheaper/simpler meal.
