8.0 Clean and safe accomodation - Hainoon 20-04-2025

Review: We had a pleasant stay overall. The accommodation looked exactly like the pictures—clean, neat, and well-maintained. The place felt safe and comfortable, which was great for our family. However, one downside was the toilets. They had an unpleasant smell, likely due to the exhaust fans not working properly. Hopefully this gets fixed soon, as it would make the stay even better. Otherwise, everything else met our expectations.

9.0 It is definitely a good place to stay in Batam! - Hilmi 31-08-2023

Positive points: Villa S1/15: The location is pretty accessible as it is near to the main road. There is a nearby mart for you to spend on late-night cravings and munchies. The villa is within a gated community, hence it is safe and there are security guards patrolling the area often.

Negative points: Villa S1/15: There is only one air-conditioning unit in the living room and it is quite soft, even when set to the lowest temp. and operated from day to night, it does not get as cold at night as you would expect. Kitchen is closed off with doors, and there is no ventilation from the air-conditioning in the living room as well as no fan, kitchen can get quite warm especially when cooking. Water pressure is quite low especially when you have all guests showering at the same time, and some of the toilets' water heater did not function properly at times. Wi-fi connection is pretty weak especially if you are on the 2nd floor of the villa.

Positive points: The house ID is nice..the living room and the bedrooms are comfortable. The price affordable. 👍👍👍

Negative points: When we entered the house there was a bad smell..maybe because of the windows were closed for long time so no ventilation..maybe can be improve by putting more air refreshner..the airconditions are not cooling the house and the rooms that well..i think need to do some maintainance for that or upgrade to higher hostpower..it will be perfect if you can do all these 😊

Review: Clean and nice decorations but a bit smelly, no suitable for foreigners especially don't have hp data roaming, difficult to contact owner. Owner didn't leave the contact number to communicate. Everything contact by Agoda. But if I don't have data roaming, then we can't contact owner to check in to homestay

8.4 Batam - Hae 21-11-2023

Review: It's a relative good stay with 4 bedrooms and each bedroom have individual toilets. If you don't mind sharing bed as a large group of 8, it's a good option. It comes with kitchen,microwave and refrigerator. But it's quite inside of the landed properties so Grab driver took some time to find it and 30 mins drive from Batam ferry centre and where we want to go. The rooms have a bit of moldy smell but there is air refresher provided. Air-con took some time to cool down but living room still relatively warm. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the price is a great bargain.

Review: The apartment was nice but we had to wait for half an hour before someone gave us the password to enter the house. There was a lot of mosquitos as there was a small well inside the house, which could be why there are mosquitoes.
