Review: We stayed here with our 2 young children and it was enough space for them to just watch tv. The main bedroom had a comfy king size bed but the second bedroom had a king single bed which wasn't very comfy. The location was awesome, there were nice restaurants and convenience stores close by. Would definitely recommend :)
Positive points: I've stayed here many times before - I always appreciate that it feels like home - great location
Negative points: The towels have been downgraded and didn't feel as clean or big in previous trips.
Positive points: It was like a mini apartment.
Negative points: I felt as if they just did the bare minimum when it came to utilities and there wasn’t any housekeeping which was disappointing.
Review: I travelled to Hanoi with a large group and chose this hotel based on the description. Here are the pros and cons:nnPros:nLocation is great for foreigners, there was a variety of cafes, restaurants, shops, and grocery stores, even a Michelin star restaurant about a 7 minute walk away. nnThe young lady who was cleaning the hotel was very diligent. She cleaned the lobby daily and kept the rooms very clean.nnIt is not very far from the airport and not as noisy at the Old Quarter. We liked being further away from all of the traffic etc.nnThe hotel allowed us to park our motorbike in the garage.nnCons:nLIMITED HOT WATER. If you are sharing a room, you need to space out the showers. I travelled in a large group, we booked at least 5 rooms and every room had this problem.nnNo staff to help you check in. You need to call a number in the window when you arrive and then get a code to get in. It's a bit challenging when you arrive late at night.nnIn the description on Agoda, it says there is an onsite bar and you can order breakfast in-room or on-the-go. But there is no longer a cafe or restaurant there. This was a bit disappointing.nnThere was a moldy smell in our room because of the lack of ventilation. nnThe neighborhood felt very safe, but the restaurants and shops were a bit more expensive than other areas of Hanoi, probably because of tourists.
Positive points: The room has almost everything we need, including laundry machine, dishes, pots, pans, utensils, tv, ac, and more. The room we booked has a kitchen and a small electric stove, allowing you to cook your own meal.
Negative points: Not enough staffs
Review: Very noisy work (drill, loud metal noises) inside the hotel every day from 7.45 am to 8 pm. Impossible to stay in the room. Impossible to rest. Impossible to work. nnWhy leave the hotel open with work like this?nnThe hotel address on Agoda and even on Google Maps is wrong. The real location isn't very far, but it's not indicated, so it's hard to find, and it's not practical with luggage when your Grab has dropped you off at the wrong address. I had to ask several people before I found someone who knew where it was. nnThe cleanliness of the room seemed ok, but wasn't. After a few steps on the floor my white socks were all brown, I had to throw them away in the end. There's an old pair of flip-flops at the entrance but they smell really bad, so they're not usable. nnAnyway, I think you can do better.
Negative points: Complementary coffee and tea would be appreciated
Review: We had a mixed experience at Crescendo Hotel. The location is a definite highlight—convenient and well-situated for exploring Hanoi. The room itself was decent, with a good layout and comfortable enough for our stay. However, there were some downsides that impacted our impression. The service was practically nonexistent we received no response from the staff despite reaching out, which was frustrating. Additionally, while the room was nice, it was noticeably dusty and could have used a thorough cleaning. It’s an okay option if location is your priority, but don’t expect much in terms of service or spotless upkeep.
Positive points: Nicely furnished and comfy bed
Negative points: Some noise from the reception area
Review: Recommended
Positive points: Comfortable bed, great location if you’re staying in that area, nice amenities in the room. Nice decor
Negative points: Sound proofing from the hallway / reception could have been better.
Positive points: Clean bathroom, quite AC
Negative points: Please add something to kill flying bugs with.
Review: The place is very cozy and peaceful
Positive points: Super comfy, spacious for one person
Review: We very much enjoyed our stay here. Great amenities, great location near many spots to eat. Easy check in.
Review: The average large room, is near the central and flower market.
