Continent Apartment

Review: Stayed at this hotel 13 months ago and was happy with my booking so returning to Da Nang I was looking forward to another comfortable stay. However this time I was completely disappointed and shocked to see how much decline has happened from my previous visit.

I had a long bus journey from Nha Trang and arrived at the hotel before 9am to leave my luggage and return later at 1.30pm. When I did was looking forward to getting some rest and when went to my room found that the AC unit was not functioning correctly. It would turn off after f ew minutes. The room was hot having large windows facing the afternoon sun so I went to the front desk to ask for assistance. A member of staff came to look at it and said that will speak to his engineer as it doesn't seem to be cooling well either. I waited some 20 minutes and no one had come back so went back to the front desk to find the young man I had spoken with had left as finished his shift and not past on my issue to his colleague. I told him and asked to change room. When taken to a different room it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke which I absolutely hate but as I wanted some rest and as the AC seemed to work I took the room and left the window open for fresher air. I then found there was issue with the room from water damage and a hole in the ceiling as you enter the room, the handle to the bathroom door was coming away, there was no shower rail to hold the shower head had to hold by hand, there was cracks to the walls and marks to the paint all over the place.

To summarise the hotel as gone completely down hill in the past year and I was glad to check out and will never return.

Review: Pretty nice room, but the windows have no curtains sadly(only some foil on the glass). Location is pretty close to the beach, but not much to do close by. Room can be a bit noisy, with construction going on in the street.

Review: The hotel is in poor condition. The rooms are dirty, and the Wi-Fi is highly unreliable, making it unsuitable for anyone who needs to work while traveling. Additionally, the room locks are problematic. They use key cards but rarely unlock on the first try, often requiring several minutes of repeated attempts to access the room.

Positive points: Responsive host. Easy check in. Good size room and comfortable bed. Desk area to work from if needed. Complimentary water and noodles.

Review: It's a very well located to go to the beach. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. When we had a power cut, they even carry our stuff to the 3rd floor
