Review: Good location. you can go to the beach directly.There are some restaurant near the hotel.
Positive points: The staff were friendly and very efficient. The property was very well groomed and presented. Everything was very clean and attractive. The pool was beautifully maintained and adjacent to the beach, a beautiful stretch of sand inviting not only safe swimming but long beach walks too. Overall, a good value hotel which is well managed and well presented
Negative points: Hotel provided a full buffet breakfast, with many options. Egg station popular with many Westerners, but also toast, cold fruit juice, yoghurt and fruit. Otherwise the focus was Vietnamese food options.

I recently stayed at Con Dao Resort, and it was truly an exceptional experience! From the moment I arrived, everything was top-notch. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-appointed, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The facilities were excellent, and the atmosphere was inviting and relaxing.
Above all, the staff stood out for their remarkable service. They were incredibly helpful, attentive, and genuinely friendly, going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. It’s clear that they take pride in ensuring every guest feels welcome and cared for.
I highly recommend Con Dao Resort to anyone looking for an outstanding stay. I can’t wait to return!
Positive points: Nice resort on the best beach of the island. Breakfast is great, staff is helpful, u can rent scooter.
Negative points: First they gave us 2 rooms road view which are noisy in the morning with scooters trunk. Then we moved to nicer rooms close to réception with direct pool access (with extra money). On saturday some drunk locals shout at midnight in the hotel and waked us up and the staff didnt do anything to stop this (so I did). I wish they keep people calm in the hotel, good rest is the highest value of a hotel for us. I d say best room are the ones with sea view upstairs so ask for it or go elsewhere
Review:
Location is right on the beach - huge breakfast spread everyday I would take my coffee down to the beach and sit on a cabana chair watching the waves.
Staff are friendly but limited English, I tried my best with google translate. There's no grab on the island, ask the hotel to book a cab for you, fares will be less than $5.
It's a small island so everything is within walking distance, so you could choose a cheaper property inland just 10mins and still walk to the beach. But I loved the convenience of this.
Room was clean, pool was clean. Hotel pick up provided.
Other than breakfast I preferred to eat in the cafes in town rather than at the hotel restaurant.
Positive points: The private beach and pool
Negative points: In general was all OK . If should say something. I will say the staff is very king but struggles with english.
Review: Too small room without window
Positive points: Good location. Right on the beach which was nice, clean and safe for a swim. Straightforward walk to small day trip jetty / Wung tau ferry 'terminal'and restaurants / town. Also good availability of inexpensive taxis. Plenty of kayaks, SUP's etc available for a modest fee at the beach, (Twin kayak VND300,000 for an hour). Pool decent with outdoor showers from beach. Food was ok for effectively a three star hotel and there are a number of restaurants 10 minutes or so walk away or in the small main town with some good fresh seafood options. Hotel airport free transfer minibus was regular and efficient. Rooms all have aircon and clean / comfortable for star rating. Would come back again one day.
Negative points: Could do with a few simple rainy day indoor activities such as table football or table tennis etc. No gym, but we didnt try the public sports hall across the road where there are also a few young children's free swings etc For families some Children's entertainment would be a bonus.
Review: Hotel is in great location however hotel is basic and needs upgrading. Staff can’t understand you so frustrating. Breakfast not great.
Positive points:
This is not a luxury-style resort, but a typical Vietnamese one, with typical Vietnamese athmosphere.
The place is very quiet and most of the guests are Vietnamese, which can be considereded also as a big plus.
The beach is really big, beautiful, and always empty. Swimming is very safe.
The restaurant is also good and open all day.
The staff is friendly and always ready to help.
Taxis or rent motorbikes are just outside. All the main touristic spots can be easily reached with few minutes taxi.
The shuttle service to the airport is free and professional.
The dimensions and cleanness of the room were great.
This is a really recommended place, if you're looking for easy and relaxing athmosphere.
Negative points: Lack of sun beds. There are only a few.

This resort is fit for VN weekenders and pensioners.
No news channel in English. Good breakfast but fully VN oriented.
Staff is nice and helpful.
Get busy and load on WE.
Westerners should try to visit the place on week days for more space and tranquility.
The beach in front of the resort is pristine
Positive points: We stayed in the Con Dao Resort for 5 nights. The main reason we decided to choose this place was the access to the sandy beach. The beach at the hotel meets your expectations, and if you do not want in a specific day to go for a tour or to another beach on the island, you have access to the splendid beach right away. The Hotel is not far from the city center with many places to eat or to take massage. It is just about 300 meters from the port (you can access it by going along the beach). Although it is probably more quieter location than other places closer to the center. The hotel has a small poll 1.2 m deep, but we did not use it. Easy access to see with gradually progressing depth was too tempting to stay at the pool. The Hotel provides free transportation from and to the airport. Overall, the personnel is polite, and they try to be helpful. Rooms are cleaned regularly and in an unobtrusive way to guests. I believe in case we decide to come once against to Con Dao to have more time for snorkeling or individual tours to coral reefs on the other side of the island, we will choose this Hotel once again.
Negative points:
Some guests complained earlier about the quality of the breakfast. Basically, the choice for people accustomed to Western-like type of this meal could be a little disappointing. But for those eating in Asian style, with soup, rice, and other food usually eaten by Europeans in later time, the choice was quite good. The time breakfast was available was too short, and from 9.00, the food was not replenished, e.g., cold cuts or fruits. On the holiday one would appreciate having a chance to eat breakfast until 10.00. The choice of fruits was unexpectedly poor. No freshly squeezed juices, only some type of diluted concentrate awfully sweet. Coffee was very strong and continuously heated in the pot, but no option for espresso or cappuccino to take at the breakfast.
The personnel was friendly, but communicating without a translator (for those who do not know Vietnamese) would have been difficult. The beach infrastructure consists of a few old, uncomfortable wooden deckchairs.
Review: Nice resort, rooms are clean. Nothing special just hotel room with view over water. Not really geared towards anyone that isn't Asian.so hard to get a drink ... sitting by the pool.had to keep getting up to order our own drinks even tho we sat by the pool all day...only came racing out to sign for the order...breakfast is fairly mediocre also compared to what we have been experiencing
Positive points: Pool was nice, building was a good location to walk to town, breakfast included (not many vegetarian options though), and bed was super comfy, very clean room too.
Negative points: Not to do with the resort necessarily but there was rubbish on the beach :(
Review: Amazing location by a beautiful beach plus lovely hotel pool . Transfers to airport all sorted by hotel. Spoken English is a bit hit and miss but better than my vietnamese

Review: Perfect location on a beautiful beach. Lovely pool area. Rooms are nice, good size. Ocean view rooms have a beautiful view. The bedrooms are all air-conditioned but the rest of the hotel isn’t. Staff very helpful and accommodating.
Positive points: Pool was excellent. Location was great overlooking idyllic beach.
Negative points: Not enough people around. My husband got badly bitten although the hotel did warn us this could be the case.
