My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Common Inn Hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the common area was just perfect. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of trendy cafes, a supermarket, and an MRT station.
Positive points: Laid back vibe in D2. So many great restaurants, shops, spas and bars surround the property. Do yourself a favor and enjoy the area, away from the craziness of D1.

I’m so glad my friend recommended Common Inn! The location is perfect for those who prefer a more traditional setting. The staff are super friendly, and there’s even a self-service washing and drying facility for longer travellers like me. It’s free, except for the washing tablet, which you can buy from the reception. Highly recommended!
Positive points: Great location in quiet street but just a few minutes from a street of nice bars and restaurants Very clean. Big room. Good wifi. Fantastic value for money. I will fur sure stay here again
Review: Great location, staff were very helpful and friendly, would say not tonnes of facilities but when your located so close to everything its not a big drawback, room itself was well maintain with a giant bed to come back to relax on.

Review: Friendly and helpful staff! Situated at a bustling area with lots of food options, massage and some souvenirs/gifts store. The street is quiet at night as the day ends, a convenience store about 5mins walk away. It’s not a grand hotel so no facilities whatsoever. Simple room with basic essentials but it was a comfortable and pleasant stay!
Positive points: Location in Thao Dien is excellent. You can walk to everything. The hotel is clean, neat, simple and great value for money. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly.
Negative points: I would have liked 2 pillows on the bed. The walls are quite thin so you can hear your neighbors and other guests in the hallway.

Positive points: The room seemed reasonably clean. The location is excellent. You can walk much of Thao Dien from it. Quick access the overpass to D1. Nice desk to work at. There is a rooftop seating area with wifi. Easy access. Typical of older Thao Dien buildings.
Negative points: Very unreasonable check out policy. They start bugging you at 5 minutes to noon to checkout. I was running late due to cutouts on their wifi causing delays in booking an airline ticket. They want paid half day for a 3pm checkout and a full day after that! Curtains don't block light. Hall noise due to no sound isolation. Shower water pressure could have been better. Dated small toilets. No internet TV. The wifi is low performance but useable for email an low demand browsing. The place could definitely use some maintenance. NOTE: This place is no where near what I expected with a 9+ rating on Booking.
