Review: We had a wonderful stay at Chay Villas! The staff were so nice and helpful. The location was great! We were about 3 mins to local restaurants and about 7 mins to the beach! The breakfast that was provided was delicious. Highly recommend!

Review: We stayed on top floor - take eye shades if light wakes you as bright in morning. Sheets small for bed. Place to sit out in front of room with table.
Good size pool, under trees. In quiet side street, but only a few minutes walk to eat or beaches. Rooms quiet as well.
Friendly staff. Simple breakfast.
Overall, decent accommodation at good price.

Positive points: We booked the villa to celebrate a birthday. The staff was incredibly helpful and efficient, they assisted us with all the little errands in preparation for the party. The rooms were stylish and clean, we really enjoyed the facilities, especially the pool

Review: The guesthouse (not really a villa) is nice enough, in a neighborhood with dozens of similar little guesthouses. The staff are quite lovely, and the facilities are clean and well-kept.

BUT—
The top floor (“sun deck”) room we booked has multiple flaws. To start, you have to squeeze past the pool on a narrow edge to get to the rear of the building (one stumble and you fall into the pool). Then you climb 3 flights of rusty stairs behind the building, to get to the sun deck.
Inside, the slanted walls will bump your head multiple times and/or you get a cramp in your shoulder stooping to avoid it. There’s no storage space or closet no bedside table or power souce within reach. There are only two light switches in the whole space (one for the bedroom, one for the bath), so no subtlety of lighting. The a/c only works in “powerful” mode, with no regard to temperature or fan controls, and then shuts itself off.

I haven’t seen the other rooms, but I certainly would not book this one again. That said, the staff were as helpful as could be in addressing our needs. Wi-fi and breakfast are fine.

Positive points: The space was very comfortable and modern. They had everything we could need as well as a refreshing pool and full kitchen. Great options for breakfast and the host will help arrange anything you need from motor bikes to tours.

Positive points: I absolutely loved staying here. My room was huge, quite, beautifully furnished and the bed was super comfy. Loved the addition of iron and mini ironing board. The staff, including the security guard and lovely housekeeping ladies, were so sweet and helpful. Short walk to beach and main street with fabulous bars and restaurants. Excellent, cheap laundry service offered. Lots of yummy choices for breakfast which you order the day before - especially like the pho and banana pancakes. Delightful to eat breakfast around the lovely pool. Thank you for a great stay.
